Story
Okoye is almost 5 years old, birthday is 4-6-20. She is an “only dog” and has been not been around many other dogs. She is very loving with a sweet demeanor. She loves to play, go on walks and is crate-trained. She is pretty well trained as far as commands go. She is outside during the day and sleeps inside in her crate at night. We do bring her in to the house to hang out and after a few minutes of excitement, she is chill and hangs out. I am looking to rehome Okoye because I am going to be relocating and can’t take her with me. She is such a sweet dog so I am hoping she will find a family that will give her lots of love and attention. She loves all people and has never been aggressive toward anyone, child or adult.

Story
Hello! Maggie is one of the sweetest dogs ever. She loves all people, and other dogs. She has experience with one cat that she got along very well with. She is a German Shepherd mix, but I have not done any DNA to find any other cross breeds. She is a very pretty girl! I adopted Maggie and unfortunately she has outgrown me and I cannot facilitate her needs. I live in an apartment and she really needs a home with a yard where she can run around and burn off her energy with someone / a couple / a family that is active and would give her lots of attention and love. She is 1 yr and 3 months old. She is good with basic commands, however she could use a little bit of further training as she is not as responsive when out on walks. She is very healthy, shots up to date, and has been spayed. She really is a truly special dog. I will be very sad to part with her, but it really is the best thing for her and her life.

Story
Adopted Django Dec 2023 from AFV. Sweet boy. Our family had to move from a house with a large yard to a condo with limited space. Due to my husbands medical situation he is crated all day and only has limited time outside. He’s a big loving dog with lots of energy and needs more space and attention that we don't have now.

Story
She's a wonderful dog. Unfortunately my daughter is allergic and exacerbates her asthma. She is an active dog. I play fetch with her twice a day, her favorite activity. She's good on a leash. She doesn't pull or get distracted by other people or animals. Generally a quiet dog. Not much of a barker. Gets along well with other dogs of similar size and disposition. She's an outside dog now but was an inside dog before. No problems with pooping or peeing inside the home. No destructive tendencies outside or inside the house either. She eats well. She's ok with regular dry kibble. Enjoys milk bones too. She's very athletic and can jump over low fences. She's crate trained as well. No problems pooping or peeing in a crate when she's in there. She's afraid of fireworks or loud popping noises. On occasion afraid of thunder as well. No known allergies to medications or other things. We've had her for 6 years and has been a great companion. She deserves another chance at a good home
