Abandoned in the desert while pregnant, Ava survived long enough to reach an organic waste facility, where she gave birth to nine puppies beneath a metal trash bin. Several did not survive. Against all odds, Ava proved to be an extraordinary mother- gentle, attentive, and devoted. That chapter is behind her now. Ava is ready for a safe, stable home where she can finally exhale and be someone's steady companion (and she will). I am a professional dog trainer and behaviorist, and Ava is one of THE most remarkable dogs I have ever known. She is highly attuned, loyal, and joyful despite her past. Her favorite place is simply near her person. Ava thrives with calm, confident humans who value structure, routine, and emotional steadiness. She is selectively social with dogs and has high prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals is best.

Beans is 5 years old and could be a great family or single person pet. He gets along great with our family and our cat. Unfortunately he does not get along with our other male dog. Bean is energetic, cuddly, and eager to have fun and hang out. He has had some possession issues in the past with things like toys and food. Looking for someone to give this little guy the home life we are not able to.
