Shes a dog that loves to play for a bit until shes ready to sleep in the sun for a few hours. She is a super sweet tempered dog that shows no aggression towards other dogs and is always excited to meet new people. Story
Kimbo looks like a lab but is feisty and small like a chihuahua. He can be a little unsure of new things, most of it comes down to needing more socializing and so is currently in board and train making great progress. We feel he will continue to flourish in a new home and understand he is not the boss, as he does take correction well. He is a smaller dog at only around 30lbs. He is VERY smart and knows basic commands, he is very toy & treat motivated and totally house trained too. He would do best using his brain, learning tricks or going through other engaging training programs with his owner. He is crate trained, and he likes to eat his meals in his crate to feel more secure. He also loves chew toys and settles well in his crate with a chew toy if he needs to stay in it. He is an active dog and enjoys runs in the back yard and daily walks or hikes. He is very easy going, adorable, and only gets spicy with certain people so anyone who has experience with a dog who can get feisty when nervous would do well with him! I rescued 5 adorable puppies from Devore on the day they were scheduled for euthanasia. Two have been adopted and three are still looking for homes. They are 3-4 months old, microchipped, fully vetted, fixed, and socialized in a home environment. Jacob is 16 lbs, very handsome, male, and neutered. Playful, goofy ears, very snuggly. He’s a soulful sweet boy. 💙 Jacob is the pup on the right side in the last photo with his ears folded on top of his head. His ears are super expressive and cute! All the pups are great with kids, other dogs, and love being held.

They are great with kids, other dogs, and love being held.

Story
Lucy was found as a stray in July 2025 and is estimated to be about 3 years old, 55lbs. She comes from what we suspect is a rough backstory.. likely had puppies (maybe used for breeding) and encountered some sort of trauma, but her personality wouldn’t show it! Since taking her in, Lucy has blossomed into the bravest, absolute sweetest girl. She has adjusted well to home life and loves being around people as well as other dogs with the proper introduction. She is potty trained, walks well on leash, knows sit, and is generally very chill (she has become the resident office dog, providing calm & comfort to my stressed coworkers). She is also very receptive to training as she is food-motivated and wants nothing more than to be told she is a good girl. Lucy has briefly been around cats and kids (during a 4-day sleepover) with positive results. She would do well with any individual, couple, or family either as an only pet or not! Just give her love and treats and she’s good to go :)
