Ollie was saved from the kill list from the South LA Shelter at the 11th hour with the best of intentions of having him become a member of our family. He is the sweetest ever, even putting his head on my lap on the drive home from the shelter. However, he is a danger to our cat. We are heartbroken but don't have the situation to keep them separated long term, which is not fair to either of them. He is 3 years old & 40 lbs. He is very sweet, affectionate and loyal - he just wants to hang out with you. He will be very connected with his person or people. He just want to be your one and only loyal companion. He is smart - knows some commands like shake, sit, and paw and knows the sit and stay command at meal time. He is calm at home,never been destructive or had an accident in the house. He will hang out with you or go to his bed and lay down if you're busy with chores. He'd do best with an adult home a lot with a moderate sized yard, no other pets, and would just be a loyal companion.

Roger is an 8yr old, perfectly sized dog at 30-35 lbs. He’s a super-mixed breed, with a greying snoot, a playful spirit, and a love for adventure. He’s smart, highly trainable, loves a job and is happiest by your side. Roger is well socialized with other dogs and cats, is energetic but can easily settle down, and is eager to please.Roger does struggle with anxiety, separation anxiety and attachment-related reactivity, which have become more challenging with our change in living environment. He is currently medicated, which has helped significantly, and he has previously made great progress with training. We truly believe that with a great deal of love and patience in the right environment, Roger could be the best dog you could possibly ask for. We love him so much and just want to see him thrive.

I got him from a family whose dog had a large litter of puppies, and since the day I brought him home, he has been incredibly social, affectionate, and gentle. He absolutely loves people and gets excited to meet new friends. He also does very well with other dogs because he grew up around a big litter and has always been used to being social and playful. His personality is sweet, loyal, loving, and calm, and he really just wants to be close to the people he cares about. I’m looking for a stable, loving home where he will get attention, affection, and plenty of companionship because he thrives around people. He deserves a family that will treat him like part of the home because that’s exactly how he acts — full of love, trust, and kindness.

She came from a home with another medium sized dog, however, I live alone in an apartment.She deserves so much, including quality time and care. Everyone who comes into contact with her comments on her curiosity and playfulness. We often joke “she has no sense of stranger danger”.She is a perfect family dog and would having an area to run around and play. She loves water, the beach, fetch and chew toys. She is communicative and talkative (doggy way). She will let you know when she wants you!
