Story
Meet Nala Belle! Fostered in Upstate NY Meet Nala, the cutest, sassiest little mini you’d ever want to meet. Her foster calls her Nala Belle because she’s pretty enough to be a debutante — and she absolutely knows it. Nala is a true Velcro girl. Wherever you go, she wants to go too… yes, even the bathroom. She loves being close to her people and will happily jump right into your lap for cuddles and kisses. If dogs on the furniture are not your thing, Nala may not be the best fit, because this little lady believes laps were made for her. Nala also has a lot to say! She has a gravelly little voice that can sometimes be mistaken for growling, but don’t worry — she’s just sharing her opinions. She will “talk” to you for minutes at a time and have an entire conversation, complete with enthusiastic head tilts from side to side. She is expressive, funny, and full of personality. This smart, active girl would love an active family who enjoys hiking, training, or even agility. She has some agility experience, is naturally motivated, and is FAST. A fenced yard would be best for Nala, as she may chase trucks from behind the fence and occasionally bark at passersby. Nala is also a little quirky in the best way. She loves carrying things around, including soda bottles, and her foster mama has cleaned up more than one “collection” in the yard. Because she may grab socks or children’s toys, a home with young children is not recommended, even though she has lived with a child before. Nala is somewhat shy and submissive at first, but she is generally good with other dogs and dog-savvy cats. She may give cats a playful little chase, but she has not shown aggression toward them. Like many Aussies, Nala can jump up when she’s excited, so she will need continued guidance and training. She is likely not the best match for a first-time dog owner or first-time Aussie home, but she does not have any serious behavioral concerns. Nala will need a family willing to go slowly and give her time to settle into a new environment. Once she feels safe, her adopter will be rewarded with an adorable, devoted, hilarious little companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Fostered in Upstate NY Active, smart, and affectionate Loves cuddles, kisses, conversations, and adventure Best with Aussie/herding breed experience Fenced yard recommended If you think Nala is the gal for you,  please submit our adoption application at the link below! https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There are some additional fees: $20 microchip transfer fee to register and transfer her to her new furever family. ##2589999##

Story
Meet my sweet boy! ❤️He is about a year old and has the biggest heart once he gets to know you. He’s an active, affectionate dog who loves going on walks, hikes, and spending time outdoors, but he’s just as happy relaxing by your side after he’s had some exercise. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. When meeting new people or dogs he can be a little shy and awkward at first, but with a little patience his goofy, loving personality quickly shines through. He’s house-trained, knows to sit before meals, walks well on a leash, and has great off-leash recall when in a safe area. He has a flea allergy, so keeping him on regular flea prevention is important.Making the decision to rehome him has been incredibly difficult, and my only goal is to find him a home where he’ll be loved, exercised, and treated like family. He deserves someone who will give him the time and attention he deserves.
