Story
Jules is a very sweet cuddly little girl. Her owner passed away so we don’t have much information about her. We’re working on house training her and she’s very reluctant to have a collar or harness put on. She needs a fenced yard so she can go out to do her business which we cannot provide our home. With a bit of training, she would be a wonderful companion dog.

Story
Chevalier (part German shepherd I think? He’s stopped growing) has and continues to be an incredible buddy since I adopted him at a month old but unfortunately unforeseen circumstances have made keeping him suddenly unrealistic and I really, really, really want to find him a good home. He loves other people and people and other dogs. I cannot overstate how sweet and well behaved he has been from day one, but I worry without more attention than I can currently give him now and definitely will with some new personal developments that he’s being wasted on me and I want to find someone he can love as much as much as he loves me because he has so much love to give.

Story
Bonnie is sweet and friendly, she gets excited every time you come home. I had to pick up more hours at work and she needs someone to give her more attention. She gets along with cats for the most part, she won’t bite them but she’ll chase them out of interest and to play. She is not crate trained but she does well in a crate. Food aggression was an issue at first but she learned. She loves to play with squeaky toys and run around at the park. She has lots of energy and is very playful.

Story
She’s a 3-year-old, 46-lb sweet, energetic girl who makes an amazing companion. Roxy adores kids, gives lots of kisses, loves water, car rides, and going out, and has even been on a boat and a train (nervous but did great). She has a shy/nervous personality at first but has never been aggressive toward people and bonds deeply once she trusts you. She’d love a home with another friendly dog or a person who’s home most of the time, since she gets lonely. She’s spayed, crate-trained, mostly house-trained with occasional accidents, and is a big chewer with some separation anxiety, so she needs someone with time, patience, and love to give. Roxy is truly special and deserves a home where she can feel safe and included. 🐾💛

Mutt Mutt

Hayward, CA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Penny-She was found left behind with her leash attached to the front gate of the local shelter. Once a shy and anxious dog, now thrives thanks to her routine of daily walks, cuddles and delicious meals. She has been an inside dog but is not crate trained. She know a few basic commands like: sit, down, come, food, treat. She is potty trained to go outside. Admittingly, she could use additional training and animal socialization. She’s a strong leash puller and is triggered by most small animals. She is also selective with people. Building and maintaining a relationship with Penny will require patience and possibly behavioral therapy. She is also triggered by people on bikes/scooters. We as a foster home did not use training methods that require pronged collars, e-collars or anything that would possibly harm Penny both physically and psychologically. Penny would love a home where she can be someone’s center of attention. Pit/Cattle mix - 3.5 yrs. - 48lbs - Spayed In-foster care now
