Story
We adopted Ralphie when we had a home and a backyard, but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to downgrade to an apartment. Ralph is a good boy - he’s loving, loyal, and a great cuddle buddy. We recently brought our daughter home and noticed his territorial behavior has gotten worse (barks excessively when people come over, nips at ankles etc) and we simply do not have the time or money to take him back to training and try to fix this behavior. It’s unsafe for our baby girl, and impossible for us to have guests over now. He is reactive toward other dogs, but gets along well with his sister. He needs a home with a patient owner who can help train him and care for him. We’re so upset to have to rehome him, but we want the best for our little buddy, and we unfortunately cannot give that to him right now.

Story
Please help, we need to re-home our dog. Born on January 6, 2025, Ollie was rescued from Humane Society Silicon Valley in March 2025. His breed is uncertain, although he was initially listed as a large breed mix, possibly a Shepherd or Catahoula mix. As Ollie has matured, he has become increasingly comfortable around other dogs, displaying a strong inclination for play. While he is good with older children, Ollie exhibits apprehension towards individuals wearing hats and certain objects such as lawn tools and baby strollers. Having been crate-trained and taught basic commands like heel, sit, and lie down, Ollie would excel in an environment with experienced adults or families with other dogs. Due to his unpredictable behavior around young children and the space constraints of our yard, we are seeking a more suitable re-homing option for Ollie.

Story
Houdini is a cuddly and silly boy. He needs a lot of mental stimulation and would love lick-mats, definitely needs a yard to run in, and needs a committed owner to continue his training. He has been in a board-and-train with a reputable trainer for 7 weeks, and has made tremendous progress. We are rehoming because he is scared of one of our household members (a tall, loud, man) and he has not been able to break from that. He may benefit from a female only household. Houdini is a goofy guy who loves to cuddle, is fine being picked up, and talks sometimes! He's got husky in him, we can provide his DNA test results if desired. He can be vocally reactive to stimuli such as new people or dogs on walks. He needs stability and an experienced adopter willing to learn his training requirements and carry them out. He knows sit, down, place, leave it, responds to leash pressure and e-collar stimuli, and all around just really needs someone who will love him forever.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We rescued Marley 3 Christmases ago when she was about 10 weeks old (birthday is 10/20/22). She was skin and bones and we found out 2 days later that she had parvo and would likely not make it. We did everything we could to get her through it and our Christmas miracle was granted when 4 days later she started eating and drinking! Our family situation has changed and lack of time for her is the reason we sadly need to rehome her but because we love her so much, we want to make sure she goes to someone who will treat her like a family member with lots of love and attention. Marley is really a wonderful dog. She loves to go for a walk, sunbathe and swim. Not into playing fetch much. She will go and get it twice and then look at the ball for you to go get it. We aren't sure if it's from the neglect of her first few weeks of life or parvo, but she does have some joint issues. We give her daily vitamins to help but for that reason she doesn't run much or is able to jump up on things.

Story
Zoey is a mixed breed, possibly some kind of terrier mix, medium size dog likely around four years old. Her human passed away and had no known relatives- she would have been surrendered to a shelter and likely euthanized, but I offered to try to find this sweet girl a new home. She's enthusiastically friendly, not shy at all with new people. She's very energetic and doesn't necessarily need someone very experienced with dogs, but does need someone who can regularly exercise her more strenuously than simple walks. She seems to understand the concept of fetch and loves playing with toys. She gets along with my two dogs but I don't know how well she would interact with cats. Very cuddly and loves attention!

Story
We are looking for a loving, calm home for our sweet terrier mix 14-year-old boy. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family, but we want him to have more time, attention, and comfort than we’re currently able to give. He is crate trained and potty trained, though due to his age he may have occasional accidents. When he has easy access to the outdoors, he prefers to go outside and does very well. He is extremely quiet and does not bark at all. He is gentle, great with kids, and has a very calm, low-energy personality. He loves to cuddle and be near his people, but he’s also perfectly content relaxing and sleeping in his crate for much of the day. He will sniff other dogs but usually doesn’t show much interest beyond that. He is afraid of cats. He will just avoid them.
