Story
We have a beautiful, energetic dog named Billie. She is a 3-and-a-half-year-old Lab/Pit mix and weighs about 65 pounds. She is truly such a sweet girl — silly, playful, full of energy, loves going on long walks, and has so much love to give. I recently received a job offer in Texas, and my wife and I are not able to take Billie with us. We have tried to find a solution within our family, but our parents and my sister-in-law’s parents are getting older and are not able to care for a dog with Billie’s energy level. I would take her myself, but my apartment does not allow large dogs. At this point, we feel like we have exhausted our options and are just trying to find Billie a safe, loving home.

Story
Korra was rescued in Dec 2023. She is so kind and loving and full of energy! She came from a home with another medium sized dog, however, I live alone in an apartment. She deserves so much, including quality time and care. Everyone who comes into contact with her comments on her curiosity and playfulness. We often joke “she has no sense of stranger danger”.She is a perfect family dog and would having an area to run around and play. She loves water, the beach, fetch and chew toys. She is communicative and talkative (doggy way). She will let you know when she wants you!

Story
Part of a bonded pair with Melody, one fee for bothWe are looking for a loving new home for our sweet dog, Poppy. This has been a very difficult decision for our family, but after welcoming a new baby, we’ve realized that she would be happiest in a home better suited to her needs.Poppy is about 9-10 years old with a calm and loving personality. She loves cuddling and laying in the sun and thrives when she has a calm environment and a quiet place to retreat to when needed. She is house trained other than the occasional accident when it's rainy. She does well with walks on a leash but does tend to get tired pretty quickly so she does best with shorter walks. While she has so many wonderful qualities, she does best in a home without young children. We want to make sure she’s in an environment where she can feel safe, relaxed, and truly thrive. We are committed to finding her the perfect match—a patient, loving home that understands her needs and will give her the happy life she deserves.

Story
Betty Rizzo is a 1-year-old, 25 lb Cavapoo with the sweetest soul. Heartbreakingly, a terrible human had reportedly tossed this sweet innocent dog out of his vehicle. Suddenly alone, she spent time surviving on the streets of Lynnwood until a good samaritan was finally able to catch her and connect her to Shelter Hope. What’s amazing is that despite everything she’s been through, Betty is still full of love. She never let her difficult start change her gentle, trusting nature. She is affectionate and happiest when she's getting cuddles or spending time with her people. Betty has a medium energy level, gets along well with other dogs, and has an easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around. Our staff at Shelter Hope absolutely adore her. Now fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped, Betty is ready for a fresh start with a family who will love her the way she deserves. ---- Looking to Adopt?
