We found this sweet girl in the neighborhood. We posted flyers and on lost pets to no avail. She appears to be maybe 4 - 5 months old and unknown mix. She’s sweet and full of energy. She’s roughly 8-10lbs. We will provide all supplies we bought for her. She is not fixed and has not had her shots yet.

Story
Lucy was found as a stray in July 2025 and is estimated to be about 3 years old, 55lbs. She comes from what we suspect is a rough backstory.. likely had puppies (maybe used for breeding) and encountered some sort of trauma, but her personality wouldn’t show it! Since taking her in, Lucy has blossomed into the bravest, absolute sweetest girl. She has adjusted well to home life and loves being around people as well as other dogs with the proper introduction. She is potty trained, walks well on leash, knows sit, and is generally very chill (she has become the resident office dog, providing calm & comfort to my stressed coworkers). She is also very receptive to training as she is food-motivated and wants nothing more than to be told she is a good girl. Lucy has briefly been around cats and kids (during a 4-day sleepover) with positive results. She would do well with any individual, couple, or family either as an only pet or not! Just give her love and treats and she’s good to go :)

Meet Freddy, an approx 2 year old 50lb best bully boy! He was abandoned by a homeless person on the green belt. Since he has been with us he has been fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, heart worm negative, all shots included leptospirosis. He is a snuggle bug who thinks he's a lap dog at 50lbs. His favorite pastime is snuggling in your blanket and he loves long walks...anywhere! He is not food aggressive, is learning basic commands and crate training quickly, is house trained and doggie door trained. He is ready for his forever home. Could that be you? Story
Keiko is an 11-year-old "puppy" who enjoys sunbathing as much as she still enjoys playing rough with her humans. I've had her for 4 years through many moves, which are starting to take a toll on her. She can be defensive and mistrusting of new people, but settles down after a week of being treated like a princess. She does not do well with other animals in the home, and can be defensive if mad-dogged on the street. I'm looking for her "sundown owner": a stay-at-home or retired adopter who can give her the attention and stability she needs at this stage of life. She is in good health considering her age and has had regular vet care. She enjoys a regular schedule of walks and meal-times, cannot get enough sunbathing, and loves gentle, consistent loving attention. Her first few owners did not care for her well; she has an embedded collar scar and had spinal surgery about 5-6 years ago. Long Beach locals preferred.

Marty is a 1 year old male Chiweenie Mix who was rescued from Palmdale along with 13 other dogs, and he’s now ready for a fresh start. He’s a friendly, easygoing pup who loves kids and other dogs, and nothing makes him happier than curling up in a warm dog bed. With his sweet personality and loving nature, Marty is the perfect little companion for a family looking to welcome a loyal new friend. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event.
