Hi… I’m Coal 🐾🖤
I’m a 5-year-old Lab mix with a loyal heart, a gentle soul, and a soft spot for cozy naps and tennis balls 🥺 I can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but once I know I’m safe, I warm up quickly and turn into a playful, loving little shadow.
I’m the kind of dog who bonds deeply with my person. Once I choose you, I’m all in—loyal, affectionate, and happiest right by your side. I love walks, I love relaxing at home, and I’m perfectly content following you from room to room just to be close 💕
I’m potty trained, leash trained, house trained, and already know a few basics like sit, down, and stay. I’m easygoing, sweet, and adapt well to your routine. I enjoy a calm life, gentle attention, and a home where I can feel safe and understood.
✨ My ideal home:
• A calm, quiet home with 1–2 people
• No young kids (older kids 10+ who understand boundaries are okay)
• A patient person who will let me warm up at my own pace
• A cozy home with lots of love, walks, and naps
• A cat sibling is okay with me 🖤
I’m still learning that the crate is okay overnight and when left alone, but otherwise I settle in beautifully and adjust quickly. I just need someone willing to understand me, respect my gentle nature, and let me build trust in my own time.
I may be a little cautious at first, but once I love you, I really love you. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will quietly become your very best friend 🐾✨
Adoption FEE: $650, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
