Story
Digit is a 2 year old very playful dog we rescued whose previous owner trained him to be a hunting dog then got another dog and just abandoned him. He has never attacked my family or other 6 animals including my pigs and has defended our home from one other dog so far. He is a great dog just a little energetic. I’m only finding him a new home because I am moving and can’t take all my animals with me, and we want him to have the best life and we can no longer provide that. Would be a great farm dog, has already been trained with chickens.

Story
Holt is a loving and charismatic dog who needs an active family to keep up with his energy. He's 3 years old and loves to play with other dogs, adults and children. It breaks our heart to put Holt up for adoption. We are actually putting both our dogs up and whichever one we find the best home for is the one we will rehome because my husband and I just can't decide which pup to let go of. Holt needs to move to a single dog home where he can be king of the house. Him and his brother just get jealous of affection (not food or toys) and both our trainer and vet agreed they are amazing dogs but just need their own home space, though both socialize well outside the home and are great with kids. Holt is well trained and knows many commands. He's a fast learner and loves pets and affection but also needs his space sometimes to relax. His favorite activity is to go for a walk so if you love the outdoors he's a good friend for you. We just want him to be happy and healthy. ♥️

Story
Peralta is a goofball and cuddle monster. He came from a neglected background when we adopted him, so he constantly is seeking affection and reassurance - and he thinks almost anything could be food. He is very smart, learns quickly and loves to play fetch or tug-o-war. It breaks our heart to put Peralta up for adoption. We are actually putting both our dogs up and whichever one we find the best home for is the one we will rehome because my husband and I just can't decide which pup to let go of. Peralta needs to move to a single dog home where he can be king of the house. Him and his brother just get jealous of affection (not food or toys) and both our trainer and vet agreed they are amazing dogs but just need their own home space, though both socialize well outside the home and are great with kids. As you can see in the photos, Peralta is big but thinks he's a lap dog and needs someone who will love him, take him for walks and play. We just want him to be happy and healthy. ♥️

Story
Luna was adopted during COVID back in June of 2020 from a shelter in Maryland. She just had puppies when we adopted her and believe she was originally a stray. She is around 7 years old. She is a very shy girl when you first meet her. Once she warms up to you, she will be your best friend. The best way to win her over are butt scratches and treats. She is a very smart girl and knows a variety of tricks (sit, stay, down, spin, rollover, paw, etc…). She absolutely loves walks and cuddling on the couch. She is always ready to go on an adventure and to spend time with her pet parents.Luna would do best with somebody who lives alone or a couple. We wouldn’t recommend she be in a home with young children or other pets. She enjoys her alone time and doesn’t love new people getting in her face. We wish we could keep her, but we just had a daughter and don’t believe Luna would do well with a small child constantly bothering her. We want to find somebody who will give her the love she deserves.

Story
Meet Stella, a 6.5-year-old, 47lb loyal companion. We’ve loved her for 6 years, from road trips to flights—she’s the ultimate travel buddy. She is house-trained, great with dogs/cats, and loves beach days. While she knows basic commands (sit, down, heel, stay, place), she’s still working on her manners and would thrive with a patient owner.Stella has chronic skin allergies requiring daily Apoquel, Cytopoint injections (every 2-3 months), a strict prescription diet (Hill’s Derm Complete), and 1-2 medicated baths weekly. Her average care cost for food, medication, and vet bills is around $200-300/month.We are heartbroken to rehome her, but due to our changing family, she needs a stable home where she can be the center of attention. She’s best suited for a loving home without small children (for time requirements). If you have the heart, time, and resources to manage her health, you’ll gain a fiercely devoted best friend. Please reach out if you can provide the love and care she deserves.

Story
We adopted Kai from a family friend when he was 4 weeks old. He was the runt of the litter and his mother had rejected him. We bottle-fed him for weeks until we was ready to have soft food. Kai is a very anxious dog. He will bark at an animal or person he doesn't know, but if he is familiar he will shower them with love. He's spent his whole life around other dogs so he is totally fine sharing a space with them but may be apprehensive at first. We had 2 kittens for about a month and he was scared of them, but otherwise he was fine with cats too. Kai is house trained (he trained himself; he'll only go in the house in an absolute emergency and no one is around to take him outside) and he is crate trained. He loves to suck on blankets, so make sure to keep one around just for him!Kai requires a lot of attention and exercise. He has bad separation anxiety (being in a crate helps keep him calm). He loves playing with people and loves running, so a big open yard or lots of walks are a must.
