**Meet Star ❤️** Star is about 3 years old, and she truly is one of the sweetest dogs we've ever had the privilege of knowing. She has a gentle, loving personality and is wonderful with children. She has always been patient, affectionate, and happiest when she's surrounded by her family. This is one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make. We recently found out that our daughter has allergies, and after a lot of thought and many tears, we've realized that finding Star a new home is the best choice for both of them. Star deserves a family who will love her just as much as we do. She's full of love, enjoys being around people, and will make an incredible companion for anyone looking for a loyal and caring dog. Our only goal is to find her a safe, loving forever home where she'll be cherished. If you think you could give Star the life she deserves, please reach out. We want to make sure she goes to the perfect family!

Story
Izzy is a beautiful, sweet, loving, and extremely dedicated dog. She has had regular check ups with the Healthy Pet Clinic at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia. She is a Pit Bull mix, white with brown spots on her coat and her ears have distinctive black spots reminiscent of a Dalmatian and are absolutely adorable. I believe she is about 9 years old and weight 76 lbs on her last clinic visit. She is very sweet, loving, and dedicated dog to her family and protective of her home. When new people come into her home we isolate her and gradually assimilate her to the new person then she adapts. She is dog aggressive, barks and growls and might charge if not on her leash. She has been an indoor dog (no fencing) and goes out in her leash; she is very good and obedient (does not pull or yank). When she does see a dog, she will bark, but when told “no” she stops and ignores the other dog. She is wonderful with my 7 year old granddaughter and just loved attention. A great companion.

Waylon is 5 years old and a sweet dog. He’s energetic and loves to play with other dogs. He’s good with cats and kids but does like to jump. He still pulls on the leash. He sits on command and will come to his name. He was recently neutered on July 1st and has updated vaccines with supporting records. He is microchipped. He’s on a monthly flea, tick, and heart worm prevention and is heart worm negative. We will provide his food, a leash, collar, food bowl, and toys.Waylon is a very happy and silly dog who needs a home with a fenced yard and an energetic family. We are unfortunately unable to keep him due to our landlord restrictions for breeds starting late July. He is very loving and we’re hopeful an energetic family will want to adopt him!

Apollo showed up on our front doorstep 4 years ago emaciated and wearing a collar. After we had no luck finding the owner, we decided he had captured our hearts, and he's been a part of our family ever since.Unfortunately, we currently have 6 pets living in our apartment and it is unsustainable, so we have made the difficult decision to try to rehome Apollo.Apollo loves people, and gets along great with all of our pets (cats and dogs). He's an incredibly affectionate and cuddly dog. He wants to be inside your skin and will always be at your side if he's able!He has separation anxiety due to us working from home, so he may bark if left home alone. He is house and leash trained. While he prefers to be in bed with you–he is kennel trained as well.Everyone who has met this goofy dog has fallen in love, and we know you will too!

Cooper is a super sweet dog but unfortunately was adopted with his litter mate. His litter mate is extremely reactive and anxious and it made home life super stressful for Cooper. Cooper needs to live in a house where he is the only dog. He would have the best chance for success in a house without cats and young kids too. He has completed OTCK9 Academy's well mannered dog program and goes to group classes weekly to keep up with his training. If his future home is close to Woodstock or Acworth he can continue his group classes on the weekends with his new family. He is great with other dogs outside of the house. He can be a little timid at first but is quick to warm up. He has never been aggressive towards other animals or people. He is very well trained and will be the perfect dog for the right family.
