Story
Mia was adopted when she was around 9 months old. Mia was found roaming the streets in Atlanta when she was found and brought to Lifeline Animal Shelter. She is extremely sweet, kind, and, patient, playful. She has been living in one home ( mine) for the past 9 years. She has lived with dogs ( big and small), kittens/ adult cats, and babies, toddlers, and school age kids. Mia loves to run and play ball. She loves hikes or just sitting in the sun. Unfortunately, I am unable to care for her like I used to. My husband and I just had a newborn along with caring for our three other kids, we are unable to keep up with her walks or getting her to the park. Mia gets groomed and has recently got her rabies shot.

Story
Daisy mama is a sweet, energetic and gentle girl. Her bark can be a bit intimidating but she truly is a sweetheart girl. She’s almost 3 years old, her birthday is in June. She had one litter of 12 puppies last December and she was the best mommy! I always planned to get her spayed but a lot has happened and I just haven’t had the time to carve out to take her. I’m more than willing to cover the cost and even take her to get spayed at the vet we use! I’m going through a divorce and I had to move back home with my grandparents and they won’t allow me to have her there unfortunately. My dad has been taking care of her since September and he can’t anymore which is why I’m hoping and praying she can find a home here. She loves my 3yr old son and she’s very good with him! I’ve been trying for months to find her a new forever home where I can still hopefully be part of her life.

Story
Meet Pesto, a three-year-old GSD mix weighing about 60-65 pounds. Pesto loves running in the backyard or a large play area with a fence. He also really enjoys car rides and swimming in his plastic pool. While his favorite treats are whipped cream, bully sticks, and peanut butter, he does have a sensitive stomach that requires moderation. Pesto would thrive best in a home with more time for many activities and frequent stimulation. Ideally, he should be the only dog or maybe with only one of a similar size/demeanor, but no cats. We are not 100% sure how he is around children or babies. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained, but that does require a prong-collar. He also needs a secure fenced yard and a warm and patient environment.

Story
Mixed SE Asian Village male.Kheng is now one year old, 50 lbs at last vet visit, tan with short hair. He is very smart, house trained, and has microchip and all of his vaccines. He sheds very little, does not drool, and, according to Embark DNA study, SE Asian Village dog does not typically suffer from a genetic predisposition to any diseases. He does require daily exercise/ walks, and a fenced in backyard would be a plus as he loves to run, gh part of his day he spends as a couch potato listening to the piano classical music. We rescued him with his littermate whom we have been caring for 3 months. Our dilemma is that it is hard to focus our attention to both of them at the same time. We are facing a littermate syndrome currently. In early February, I need to travel oversea to care for my elderly mother for 3 months. My husband will not have my help to walk/feed/train etc. ***If the adoption is not possible at this point, a 3 months foster family is greatly appreciated***
