Story
Smokey was found on a busy road early 2023. A friend was going to take him and bailed out. The animal shelter wouldn’t take him because they were full. They said put him back out where we found him. He is our 6th dog. We have to downsize because our oldest are seniors and need extra care. He has been spayed/neutered and is current on shots. He is around 3 now we think. Super sweet and cuddles all the time. Not crate trained but very smart. He is house broken with no accidents since right after we got him.

She’s wonderful and very energetic. Ailia is my neighbors dog and they keep her outside all day and night. She is being neglected in all aspects sadly. The owners allowed me to walk her and have been clear that they do not want her anymore.

Story
Loki was adopted in January 2021 from the Alpharetta, GA Humane Society. They told us he hadn't been there long; only a few days. They estimated he was two years old. Since being home with us, he has become very protective of me and our house. He has a high prey instinct and wants to chase and lunge at squirrels in the neighborhood. He is sweet when it is just us in the house. We have tried training and gone to UGA's Animal Behavioral Center to help with training and anxiety. He loves affection and being with the family, but doesn't want anyone else in the house besides immediate family.

Story
Hi everyone this is "Puppy". We affectionately named him puppy because we cannot think of a name for him and we got him when he was a puppy to tell his story I just moved to Georgia and there was a lady outside of the Walmart she had puppies for sale and I instantly went to see and bought him On April 24th 2024. At the time he was 8 weeks old. She said he is a mix of chihuahua and terrier. I already have two dogs at home two cats and three guinea pigs so I thought he would have mixed right in. Unfortunately he is not getting along to well with my older dog and my other puppy. I took him to the vet I took him to training. His aggressiveness towards them it's stressing us out 101 he is a great attentive intelligent dog He just needs personal attention.

Zoey is the perfect companion for an active family or individual. Zoey is very smart, loves to be around people, and very animated when you talk to her. She will bond with the owner and follow them around everywhere. Zoey is completely potty trained. She knows her basic commands like sit, stay, and command “bed”. Zoey could do well with other dogs but will need slow introductions to build trust. She only barks to alert you when someone is at the door. She is a sweet, loving dog who is looking for her new home.

Story
Wayne is a 6-year-old, playful and affectionate dog looking for a new home. I adopted him two years ago from another shelter in Florida, and while he loves activity, he's also happy to relax and lounge around. Due to a medical condition, I can no longer keep up with his needs. He's up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies as of July 2024) and is microchipped. Wayne knows several commands—sit, stay, wait, paw (both sides), leave it, time for bed, and more. He responds very well to his name. Wayne does best with older kids as he likes to jump and roughhouse. He’s good on a leash and gets along with calm-energy dogs after slow introductions. He also does fine with cats, though he may try to play with them. He warms up quickly to new people once he gets a good sniff.
