Story
Nala is a sweet baby who loves to snuggle! She has been through a lot this year because our family was displaced due to forces of nature. We are having to rebuild our home and it's becoming very apparent that we will not recover financially anytime soon. Nala has began chewing on her skin and we've taken her to the vet, but we cannot figure out why she's doing it (probably stress). She's due for shots too and we just don't have the funds to do all that she needs. She's stressed out with all the changes and so are we. She needs stability, calm, and someone who can take care of her. We just can't and we didn't want to admit that, but we have to let her go have a better life! She is crate trained and house broken. She's lived with many other dogs and cats throughout this crazy year while we are trying to get our housing figured out and she's done great! She just wants love, she doesn't really care what other animals are around as long as somebody can snuggle her!

Story
Roman Around is a very good boy who was going to a shelter before we got him. We didn’t want him to go from country life straight to a city shelter, so we are looking for an adopter that will have land for him to run around on. He almost never barks. He loves being with other dogs, or with a stay at home worker. He respects an electric fence collar. He is crate trained. He will chase cats and chickens. He gets along well with other dogs, big and small. Neutered. Huge cuddle bug, will lay with you on the couch, bed, or floor. He does not chew furniture, shoes, or anything that’s not his, or tear up toys. He is good with children. Walks well enough on a leash. Really he needs a place where he can have attention all day, whether it be from another dog, or from a person that works from home. All shots up to date. He will come with a large crate and food bowls and some toys.

Story
Marley is a 5.5-year-old female shepherd mix, about 70 lbs., with the sweetest heart. She is well cared for, well behaved, and truly a good dog. She knows and follows basic commands, loves treats, enjoys cuddling and is happiest when she’s outside—no matter the weather. She would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard, where she can sunbathe, play, and enjoy her surroundings. Marley does have some general anxiety, which she is currently on one medication for and does well with. Because of this, she would do best as the only pet in the home and in a household without small or loud children. In the right environment, she is calm, affectionate, and incredibly loyal. This decision was not made lightly, and because of how much we love her, we will be very selective in choosing her next home. Our goal is to set Marley up for long-term success, comfort, and happiness. If you—or someone you trust—may be a good fit and are interested in learning more, please reach out for a meet and greet!

Story
Sup! I’m Nipsey Dawg, and I’m basically a pro athlete in a compact body. My DNA test came back as a wild mix of Pug, Jack Russell, Chi, and Yorkie—which is just a fancy way of saying I’m 100% mutt love. I’m athletic & have a brain that’s a little too sharp. Case in point: I figured out how to crack the code on my sister’s crate just to "borrow" her snacks. (What? It’s called efficiency.) My Résumé: Skills: Basic training grad, crate-trained, and a gold medalist in belly rubs. Hobbies: Hiking, daily walks, and I’m pretty sure I’d crush an agility course. Work in Progress: I freak a little when you leave me behind. Ok fine, I panic pee sometimes too. Nobody's perfect! Health: I’m vaxxed, neutered, microchipped, and my pearly whites were just professionally cleaned. Dream Home: A fenced yard and shoulder to perch my butt on. If you’re looking for brains, brawn, & adoring baby brown eyes, I'm your little dude. Apply to adopt me today and let's stroll off into the sunset 🌄!
