Story
Violet is a high energy dog who loves to play and is smart and mischievous. We are sad to let her go, but unfortunately she is a Houdini and escapes by digging under our fenced yard regularly. Every hole we cover and block off just leads to her to find another way to escape. We live in a very populated neighborhood, and while she’s not aggressive, she runs up to people and dogs, barking and scaring them. She doesn’t run far, but our neighbors have had enough. She has boundless energy and would be great with an experienced adopter with room for her to roam. She may be great with agility training or a farm dog with a task. Very smart, but uses her smarts for causing trouble. Good with dogs and kids but plays rough and constant with dogs, which can annoy dogs (probably do best with an alpha). Crate trained and can’t be left alone out of crate in the house as she’ll get into things. Also takes medication for severe car sickness. Just want a good home for her.

Story
This is Rosalina or Lina, she is a year and a half old. She is all puppy still! She is a great dog, but has been acting out since my son was born. We have tried for a long time to work with her, but at this point she spends too much time in her cage and I dont want that for her. She is around other dogs and cats with no issues. Older kids also wont be an issue. She has never been aggressive. We are hoping to find an active and loving home for her.

Story
Ghost came to us in 2020 from out of state. He was in a large litter kept outside in a pen with his siblings. He was the runt. He was injured possibly by a racoon as a puppy, which has caused one of his eyes to be slightly off kilter. He does well with other dogs after getting warmed up. He gives hugs. He loves getting his belly rubbed. He listens very well but too much noise makes it difficult for him to focus. He has been with another dog in the house since he came home and never caused any harm to her. He is protective of his things, his space. He has shown food aggression at times when someone he doesn't know reaches for his food. He's slow to warm up to strangers, but he makes up for it with a lot of loyalty and hugs (seriously, he gives hugs like no other dog). He is not comfortable around young children which is why we are rehoming him with a very heavy heart.

Story
Zeke is a dog that people need to earn his trust. Until that trust is earned he will bark at folks. This is one where an adoption may take time and multiple visits before going home. Once that trust is earned he is loving, affectionate, playful and cuddly. Zeke was rescued from a neglect situation within our family. After brought into our care Zeke was neutered and brought up to date on his vet care. He still struggles with the aftermath of food insecurity and we find that being consistent with feeding time helps keep him calm and prevents unwanted destruction. Zeke has a lot of energy. First thing he does when let out for bathroom breaks is run laps around my 1+ acre yard. He would benefit from a large fenced in yard with room to roam. A farm would be even better. He is young and eager to please. Zeke does not do well with cats as he chases and trees them. We are unsure of how he will react to children. My observations have been that he barks at them the same as adults he meets.

Story
She is very loving but she's a little bit lost in her head. We think she was taking away from her mother when she was a puppy. I have a boxer she gets along with but she doesn't like cats at all. She is very slow thinking witch gets herself in trouble.....she's dug up my yard. She doesn't walk very good on a leash. I'm 65 and can't handle her. If I was a bit younger I would have loved to keep her. I'm resigned to the fate that I'm not a spring chicken and can't do anything I used too. So I would love to see her go to someone who will take the time with her. It really breaks my heart that I can't keep her. Thank you
