Story
Sup! I’m Nipsey Dawg, and I’m basically a pro athlete in a compact body. My DNA test came back as a wild mix of Pug, Jack Russell, Chi, and Yorkie—which is just a fancy way of saying I’m 100% mutt love. I’m athletic & have a brain that’s a little too sharp. Case in point: I figured out how to crack the code on my sister’s crate just to "borrow" her snacks. (What? It’s called efficiency.) My Résumé: Skills: Basic training grad, crate-trained, and a gold medalist in belly rubs. Hobbies: Hiking, daily walks, and I’m pretty sure I’d crush an agility course. Work in Progress: I freak a little when you leave me behind. Ok fine, I panic pee sometimes too. Nobody's perfect! Health: I’m vaxxed, neutered, microchipped, and my pearly whites were just professionally cleaned. Dream Home: A fenced yard and shoulder to perch my butt on. If you’re looking for brains, brawn, & adoring baby brown eyes, I'm your little dude. Apply to adopt me today and let's stroll off into the sunset 🌄!

Story
Marley is a 5.5-year-old female shepherd mix, about 70 lbs., with the sweetest heart. She is well cared for, well behaved, and truly a good dog. She knows and follows basic commands, loves treats, enjoys cuddling and is happiest when she’s outside—no matter the weather. She would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard, where she can sunbathe, play, and enjoy her surroundings. Marley does have some general anxiety, which she is currently on one medication for and does well with. Because of this, she would do best as the only pet in the home and in a household without small or loud children. In the right environment, she is calm, affectionate, and incredibly loyal. This decision was not made lightly, and because of how much we love her, we will be very selective in choosing her next home. Our goal is to set Marley up for long-term success, comfort, and happiness. If you—or someone you trust—may be a good fit and are interested in learning more, please reach out for a meet and greet!

Story
Luna is the SWEETEST girl! She will win your heart with her soulful eyes and warm smile. Luna loves to snuggle and is such a LOYAL SWEET dog who will bring so much LOVE to your home. She has already been through home changes, so we really want to find her forever home. Luna was a rescue who came to us unexpectedly following an extended pup sitting where she became part of our family. When her owners asked if we would keep her, we said yes! Unfortunately, after loving her for over 2 years, we can no longer keep her. My partner moved in with his cat, and Luna has a very high prey drive. This was a very difficult decision as we will miss Luna greatly. Luna needs a home without any small animals. She is wonderful with children. She has done well with our other dog who is the same size as her. They share food, she does not resource guard. The two play quite a lot and will compete for our love and attention. Mixed breed, unknown. Needs tall fence. Crate trained but does not require crate.

Story
Nala is a sweet baby who loves to snuggle! She has been through a lot this year because our family was displaced due to forces of nature. We are having to rebuild our home and it's becoming very apparent that we will not recover financially anytime soon. Nala has began chewing on her skin and we've taken her to the vet, but we cannot figure out why she's doing it (probably stress). She's due for shots too and we just don't have the funds to do all that she needs. She's stressed out with all the changes and so are we. She needs stability, calm, and someone who can take care of her. We just can't and we didn't want to admit that, but we have to let her go have a better life! She is crate trained and house broken. She's lived with many other dogs and cats throughout this crazy year while we are trying to get our housing figured out and she's done great! She just wants love, she doesn't really care what other animals are around as long as somebody can snuggle her!

These pups are in Indianapolis, Indiana too!

Story
Meet Priya! This little lady is 9 months old and around 22 pounds, the perfect size for adventures of all kinds. She may have short legs, but she’s always ready for hikes, walks, or anything as long as she can be with her people. Priya didn’t have the easiest start in life, but she’s made incredible progress. She’s crate trained and potty trained, and she’s blossomed into a playful, spunky pup who loves playing with other dogs of all sizes — zooming, wrestling, and playing tug. She’s outgoing, happy, affectionate, and full of personality. Priya loves to chew, so she’ll need plenty of toys and bones to keep her entertained. She is very smart and loves learning new tricks! Priya LOVES her humans and fur siblings. She’s a true velcro pup who loves snuggling with her humans as much as she does with her foster dog sister and cat brother. Her new family should keep in mind that not all dogs enjoy close snuggling, but if your dog is affectionate or at least tolerant, Priya could be a perfect fit. She has experience with kids of all ages and does well with them, though she prefers a calmer household with children over 12 years old. Priya is a fun-loving, devoted girl looking for her forever home, where she can continue to blossom into the wonderful dog she’s become. *Priya must go to a home with another adult dog *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy *Please visit website for how to adopt: https://sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org/adopt *Please note that we do not operate on a first come first served basis

Story
Smokey is a very good and happy boy. His dad has become unable to care for himself and so this very good boy and his brother, Lucky, are needing a new forever home. Their dad is a kind man who let the boys have the run of the house and yard. The family members caring for them now report that the boys are progressing well with their house manners. Once boundaries are re-established, it seems both Smokey and Lucky are good in the house. They are affectionate pets and are fine with encouragement on the leash. These very worthy boys are waiting for the next chapter. We want this that to be with a person as loving as the first. Please consider Smokey and possibly Lucky too. They qualify for the Pets for Vets and Seniors for Seniors adoptions. Both boys are neutered, and just had dentals. They had vaccines updated and had negative heartworm tests. Lucky has no vision in his right eye due to a previous illness.

Story
Lupe is a Chihuahua-Dachshund mix with a big personality! He can be introverted and protective, preferring a quiet home where he can relax and enjoy his favorite snacks. Though he can seem to be a bit grumpy when he first meets new people, he's just scared. Once he knows he can trust you, he’s a loyal companion who likes to hang out right next to his human. He just needs some patience and love. Lupe is very reliably potty-trained and will go to the door when he wants to go out. He gets along with other small dogs when they are properly introduced. Lupe has a loud bark so would not be ideal for a shared-walls situation. He likes a fenced-in yard but would be happy with leash walks. He prefers female dogs to male ones, but with a strong human leader he will adapt to having a fur brother. Lupe is smart. He watched another foster who had to be crate-trained because of chewing issues, go into his crate after each trip outside and get a treat. So, Lupe decided us to show that he is crate-trained as well! He enjoys his treats! 11/21/24, 12/21/24 CG
