Story
This is Koa. She’s 7 years old (DOB 1/28/19). We adopted her when she was a puppy and she’s been with us ever since. She is a herding dog and tends to nip/jump when she gets excited but has never truly bitten anyone or broken skin. However, we have a 3 year old in the house and are worried for our daughter’s safety as she gets older and more rowdy. Koa has been fine around her so far but she is very protective and honestly should not be trusted around kids. We do have another dog that she is fine around. She really is the sweetest dog but has a lot of anxiety and energy. There is a picture of the DNA test we did when we got her. She is spayed and microchipped. House trained, knows commands, and has an awesome recall. She is up to date on her rabies vaccine. We think she would do best on a farm or at least somewhere with land. We are planning on keeping her until we can find the right home. If you’re interested please reach out and we can set up a meeting!

She was abandoned by her previous owner, we've kept her as long as we could. She is super sweet and loving, but can be a cranky old lady. Lol. She is a senior dog and has trouble with mobility, and steps. But she gets around. She's a literal couch potato, loves butt scratches.

Vader is a neat dog who was left with us after our son broke up with his girlfriend. They adopted him from a farm in Odessa. He was the runt of the litter. They brought him to our house without our permission at 6 weeks old. He has 6 toes on his back feet. He would make a great guard dog. He is very protective of his human. We have cats and he likes to chase and play with them. We had another dog that passed away, but Vader would play with her also. He is a barker but I believe a dog person could tame him on that. My husband and I are just not dog people and he deserves a dog person. He is 4 years old and will be 5 in November.

She is expected to be a maximum of 40 lbs full grown.Poppy is:• Sweet and highly energetic• Crate trained and mostly potty trained• Knows how to sit• Social and loves companions• Would thrive with older children or another high-energy dogWe have had her for two months since getting her from a shelter, but our home isn't the right fit. We got Pat from an unexpected litter of puppies from a family member and took him in for a knowing good home. Pat does great with our 3 young kiddos and we’ve had him for almost 3 years. He is active but loves to snuggle and be around people! He gets along great with our female adult dog but has increasingly had tension with our adult male dog where we don’t feel it’s fair to him or our male that they stay separate. We would love for him to have a place with a good fenced back yard and a family who will snuggle and play with him! It really pains us to have to look for a new home, but we just want his life to be full of happy days!
