Story
We adopted Sunny in 2013 from a humane society. She was about 6 months old when we got her. Sunny would be best in a household without children or other animals. She has bitten children before but it was never bad injuries. She also will bite other dogs. Especially when she is territorial with her food. She can be very sweet and is a low maintenance dog. We need to rehome her because we have 2 young kids and don’t want to risk her biting them.

Story
Gale has been with us for 7 years. We rescued him in Pueblo, Colorado.This decision to rehome him is very hard for me. I lost my job a while back and I am beyond struggling to take care of me and my son let alone him at this point. He has monthly Apoquel medication I can’t afford and some ear infection problems that require vet visits and or medication sometimes that I can’t afford anymore. It may sound trivial, but I just can’t afford him. He has been loved a lot, and has such a unique personality. He’s a deva, but so lovable. He kind of thinks he’s a human as times, yet he is a dogs dog. He loves blankets by the fireplace or warm spots, butt and head scratches, walks and treats of course. He may bark when someone knocks, but pipes right down if you are a good leader and can tell him no. The minute a new person comes in the house he immediately goes in to try and steal their affection. He’s ok with other well behaved calm dogs and kids over 5. He is a great companion dog.

Story
Bodi was adopted as a puppy in Redding, CA in 2017. He has lived with young kids and cats his entire life with us. He is a wonderful dog for kids. He is an active dog that enjoys laying on laps at night. We need to rehome due to my husband's health issues.

This is Raven she is 4 years old, spayed and roughly 40lbs. She is good with kids and adults. She has been with other dogs, but not cats, not sure how she would do with cats. She is very kind and energetic, she loves to cuddle and play. She does have anxiety around other dogs, I would be careful introducing her to other dogs. She lived with 5 other dogs but was always given treats and ate meals separately from them.

Jax was found on the side of the road with his entire litter of brothers and sisters. My ex and I took this sweet guy. I suspect he is about a year and a half. My ex was very abusive and as a result, Jax does have a broken leg. It happened in October of 2023. I took him to the vet and got X-rays and casts for his leg but could not afford the expense of surgery—they told me he’d be fine but he would probably just limp. This sweet guy is so very loving, loyal and very protective. He loves my kids so much (2 and 3.5). I am now a single mom with a very demanding full time job, he is at home by himself for over 12 hours a day and after I get home I just can’t provide him with the sufficient time he needs to be outdoors. It’s always very rushed because I cannot leave my children unattended. I don’t want to give up my sweet guy. We’ve been through so much together and he is so much happier now that we’re out of our situation, I just can’t give him the life he deserves.
