Story
This is Koa. She’s 7 years old (DOB 1/28/19). We adopted her when she was a puppy and has been with us her whole life. She is a herding dog and tends to nip but has never truly bitten anyone or broken skin. However, we have a 3 year old in the house and are worried for our daughter’s safety. Koa really should not be trusted around kids but has been fine around other dogs and cats. She really is the sweetest dog though just has a bit of anxiety and is very protective. There is a picture of the DNA test we did when we got her. She is spayed and microchipped. House trained, knows commands, and has an awesome recall. She is up to date on her rabies vaccine. We think she would do best on a farm or at least somewhere with land. We are planning on keeping her until we can find the right home. If you’re interested please reach out and we can set up a meeting!

Story
Zero is an 8-year old mixed breed doggo who belonged to my father-in-law, who passed away in December 2025. He has been with us since then while we try to find the perfect forever home for him. We love him very much, but we are just not his ideal family. He is sweet, gentle, potty trained, walks great on a leash, good with other dogs (but we're unsure about cats). He loves going for walks and loves running off-leash at the dog park. He is current on his shots and healthy. He was overweight when he came to us but has lost more than 10 pounds and is now a very healthy weight. He currently stays home alone during the day and does great, but it took him some time to get used to the change in his routine. We work full time and don't like him having to be home alone so much. We are hoping to find a family with more time available to give him the love he deserves.

Story
Sweet Maize (May-zee) needs a lot of attention. Adopted her from a shelter and have worked on her anxiety issues. She has come a long wayShe is good with cats and MOST dogs. One of our dogs is high energy and prone to aggression toward her. She deserves a safer space than we can provide. She exhibits PTSD-like behavior and needs a calm place with a regular routine. She is wary around men, and it takes a long time for her to accept them around..She will not hurt kids, but the activity level may be a challenge for her.She needs a very patient female around willing to get her integrated into a new environment. She does okay on field trips with her person. Regular outings to regular places helps.

Story
Milo is an energetic, loving and fun dog! He loves to be outside running around, playing with a toy and going on walks. Milo also is a big lover, he always wants to be by you and can guarantee cuddles all day. Milo has been a great addition to our home but unfortunately when we had our baby, his behavior changed and he has a few bad habits including escaping our yard and pottying in the house. We think it has to do with lack of attention because he wasn’t doing this before we had our baby home. It has gotten to be too much for us to handle. Milo would thrive somewhere with a big hard and with someone who can give him the attention he deserves. We just want him to go to a loving and caring family.

Story
Buddy is a 5-year-old boxer/pitbull mix with a huge personality and even bigger energy! He loves to play, wrestle around, and show off his signature move — hopping up on his hind legs to “box” with you like a tiny heavyweight champion. Fetch isn’t exactly his strong suit (he prefers to chase the ball and then completely ignore the “bring it back” part), but he makes up for it with endless entertainment and affection. Buddy is also an excellent neighborhood security system and will proudly announce the arrival of the mailman every single time. After a long day of playing and protecting the house, his favorite thing to do is curl up and sleep like a champ. He’s goofy, loving, loyal, and always ready to make you laugh.

Story
Buddy is an 8-year-old indoor dog looking for a very specific, experienced home. He is potty trained and knows basic commands like sit, lay down, stay, and shake. He loves playing fetch, squeaky toys, and interactive treat games. Buddy can be very affectionate, loyal, and protective of his people.Buddy struggles with anxiety and does not do well when left alone or confined (no crates/kennels). He needs space to move and does best in a calm, structured environment. He has shown aggression, including biting a young child and injuring cats, and does not do well with other animals or children. Because of this, he must go to an adult-only, pet-free home with someone experienced in handling behavioral needs. His vaccines were last updated in December 2023. Records are available. Rehoming fee applies to ensure a safe, appropriate placement.
