Story
Belle is a rescue dog that I adopted from the Northeast Shelter in Salem. She is 3, 23 breeds, from Chattanooga, TN, extremely well tempered, loves attention. I adopted her for my special needs daughter so she could learn to take care of a pet. She has done very well and loves Belle. Most everyone that meets Belle falls in love with her. She has a unique personality. My problem is I have my daughter 1-2 days a week. The remainder of the week my daughter is with her mother and I have Belle and my spouse is allergic to her. What I would really like, and I know this is asking a lot, is to do more of a "dog share." I hoping there is some one that would like a dog except they can't commit because everyday every week might be a lot or they travel and wouldn't know what to do with her. Well, I would like her at least 2 days a week and would take her if you're travelling on vacation, etc. I'm trying this route first.

Story
Meet Oreo! DOB is 6/16/2022. He looks to be a Lab and Australian Shepherd mix.I got him from the Northeast Animal Shelter, 3 months ago, 7/2026. He's a sweetheart around the home and insists on being a cuddle bug if you're on the couch. He's also very sweet and happiest being around people, strangers included. He completed a basic manners class but does need more work on things like leash walking and stay (he knows sit, lay down, paw, touch, and you can point him to some locations like his bed).I need to rehome as he's become dog reactive recently and due to my working hours. He did live w my friends dog for a week and they got along fine alone during the workday and been on nature hikes w another dog. But since then, he's grabbed a couple dogs by the scruff and had to be separated. A family or someone who's home most of the time and can keep his world small by avoiding other pets would be ideal. Oreo is happy being a lazy homebody so please reach out w any questions.

Story
Coco was a 6 month old when we rescued her from the Louisianna in Nov 2017. She's a wonderfully chill & easy going dog to have. She's intelligent & schmoochie, very low maintenance & very easy going, especially around people. She loves looking for squirrels & loves sunbathing & snuggling under blankets in bed with her owners. I'm looking for a home where she can be loved & fussed, walked regularly & really appreciated. She's in superb health with a totally clean bill of health as of just a few weeks ago. She's been very caringly looked after, including monthly Heartgard & NexGard, annual check-ups & shots. Everyone loves her.Why I selected No to Good with dogs: She is really excellent with some dogs - super playful & lovely & they are her best friends. She is indifferent to most dogs, & she is unfriendly towards some dogs too, which is. She's just picky who she likes or doesn't like. We've no had much interaction with cats so I'm assuming also not good, but again hard to say. Thanks

Large, 40 LBS, striking dog, grey coat, mixed - she is wonderful, but moderately high energy & smart (2 years~). Likely a better fit for a home with a yard and/or a moderately physically active household, read: will give her an outlet for her energy, she loves to run with other dogs, be with her people, and enrichment activities. Interested in placing her in a home with someone who understands dog behavior. She is shy and slow to warm. Off-leash: She is friendly with other dogs her size or smaller who are mellow, playful. Once she she warms up, she will run and play with other dogs. On-leash: She is skittish and has made a lot of progress, but a potential adopter needs to be aware that she has anxiety on the leash that is very different from her behavior off leash. For example, I will cross the street with her when I see a dog or person approaching us.note: She has gone through a couple obedience classes and is highly trainable, she knows recall, basic commands, sit/down
