Story
Chatham is a 3.5 month old, 11 lb mixed breed pup. The person who surrendered him and 2 other dogs to the shelter down south reported that they were yorkie mixes. Not necessarily seeing that but that is what we were told. What we do know is that he is an adorable little guy. He is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He is coming to Massachusetts in September. Apply www.sunnypawsrescue.org

Story
I got Cali from a rescue clinic in South Carolina at 4 months old. She’s is now 9 months. Cali is an extremely affectionate and playful young puppy full of energy. She’s an absolute social butterfly. She loves dogs and people equally and will play with any dog that is willing. She’s super inquisitive and very intelligent. I’m looking for someone to give her the attention and time that she deserves in and throughout her formative years.

Story
Is it possible to love your dog, but also admit that your house isn’t the best place for him to thrive and be happy? Yes.We’ve had Griffin (Griff, Griffy Griff) for close to 2 years now since he was 3 months old. He is loving, goofy, and spring-loaded with energy. He is not aware he is over 60 lbs and will sit in your lap or draped across with the hopes that you will rub his head or chest. The pics may not do it justice, but he is shockingly soft like a teddy bear. He thrives on routine and loves to be my work-from-home “co-worker” whether that’s sleeping on my feet or making guest appearances on my zoom calls. He LOVES to romp around with our other dog, they are the best of buds, running, tackling, and singing/yelling at each other. Sadly, his high energy personality has made him unpredictable around our young kids (3 & 5) and sometimes aggressive to our other dog. We think he would do better in an adult only family with no other pets. Reach out if you have the right home for him!

Story
Got him MARCH 2026. He never liked to be picked up or handled but over time I gained his trust. I honestly feel like he been abused before which is why he probably has behavior issues. He does well around other small dogs but not bigger dogs. He does well with cats and small animals. Loves walks, very active, tolerates baths, loves the hair dryer, needs patience. As I said before he doesnt like to be handled or picked up. But over time he is comfortable with me holding him in my arms or picking him up off the ground. He doesnt like his head held or cupped I feel like its a trigger. I dont know anything about his past besides he was owned by elder Hispanic people. Very sweet dog and a great companion. He is rough around the edges but once he notices he wont be hurt he calms down. Which is why I feel as though he was abused or mistreated. I have to rehome him because its not fair to him. I work 6 days a week, he deserves someone who will give him more attention.
