Story
We rescued adorable little Bean (also known as Beanie Boy or Beanjamin) in 2020 from Texas and he has been SUCH a great dog. He looks almost like a dachshund mix with his long body and curly tail. He is part pekingnese, pitbull, chihuahua, poodle, cocker spaniel, and boxer. He enjoys going on long walks, but he loves cuddling under a blanket with his people most of all. He is such a sweet companion and would prefer to be in your lap whenever possible once he gets to know you. He’s a smart, food-motivated boy who learns quickly and loves to show off a good trick (he can roll over and play dead, among other skills!). Bean has lived with other small dogs just fine, but larger dogs tend to bring out his “I’m the boss”-side. We are unsure about cats. He would do better in an adults-only home. He has shown a lot of anxiety around young kids, and that’s the only reason we are trying to find a new home for him. We really are heartbroken to say goodbye to him.

Story
Dax is a sweet 3 year old boy. Neutered. Hes bonded with his non- litter sister, Marley. He grew up with other dogs and a cat. Shares his food with the cat and his sister, Marley. He loves kids and loves people. They have to stay together. They would be lost without each other. I'm recently divorced and working too many hours away from home. I'm heartbroken to give them up but they deserve better with more space to run around and people that are home to spend time with them.

Story
Lily is a gentle, well-mannered senior dog with a calm, loving presence. She enjoys car rides and daily walks, staying close by your side without pulling or reacting to other dogs. Her easygoing nature makes her a pleasure to take anywhere. At home, Lily is a quiet, low-maintenance companion. She relaxes nearby while you work or unwind, knows basic commands, has excellent manners, and can be left alone comfortably. She thrives in a calm, predictable environment and may feel nervous in busy or high-energy settings. Lily would do best in an adult or quiet household. She should be the only dog, as she can be protective of food, but may live with calm cats. Lily is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and in good health, though she can have a sensitive stomach during stress or routine changes. She has been a beloved family member since puppyhood. Due to life changes and allergies, I am seeking a loving home and would appreciate staying in touch.

Story
We had gotten Layla as a puppy. She is 3 years old. She loves to snuggle, she’s very calm and very much a couch potato until she is outside! She’s a fast learner. She’s always been able to go out in our fenced in yard. She has always been nervous walking down busy roads! She is good with larger dogs - just not while she eats! No small She likes her privacy. She’s good with my two cats and one is a wild kitten! She is good with older kids/teenagers but she is nervous with younger children as they’re unpredictable. She would do SO well as an only dog as she loves her attention and I just cannot provide all the attention she needs with my little one and now 3 of my step children in the house. We had rehomed her to a really lovely home but they are moving out of state and could not take her with them. I don’t want her going to a shelter so we took her back in for the time being. Layla is such a smart, loyal girl. I would really love to see her go to a home who would make her their world!

Story
We are fostering a 5 year old adventurous and affectionate red-headed rescue who's looking for his forever home. Athletic and cuddly, intelligent and trainable, Jesse is a great dog for a home that can provide him consistency, exercise, and companionship. Loves: affection, tennis balls, herding balls, fetch, barking at people walking by, and consistent boundaries and commandsStruggles with: separation anxiety (currently medicated), resource guarding (food/toys with other dogs), being in public places (needs practice), and the concept of personal space (will sit on top of you if you let him)
