Story
Stevie is an approximately 6 year old lab/corgi mix who was adopted four years ago. She is sweet, gentle, a little overweight (ok, about 15lbs overweight according to the vet). She is great with other dogs and kids. I listed "unknown" regarding cats - she will NOT hurt them in my experience but does enjoy a chase. She loves long walks and would be a happy girl in a farm setting, or in a home with land to roam. She is affectionate and snuggly! Unfortunately life has thrown a curveball and finding myself in a single mom situation isn't conducive to giving her the life she deserves. We'd love to see her being spoiled with a loving family where she has the support, love, time, and attention she'd thrive with.

Story
Mr. Wick is a 5-year-old rescue from Bulgaria who I rescued when he was just 3 months old. He has been a loving and loyal part of our family ever since. He is affectionate, playful, alert, and loves being around his people. He enjoys attention, playing tug of war, relaxing on the couch, and sitting by the window keeping watch on the neighborhood. He also enjoys walks, but he is strong and tends to pull on the leash, so he needs someone comfortable handling him. Mr. Wick is completely house trained and is excellent about letting you know when he needs to go outside. He has also had several weeks of professional training and has no special needs that I am aware of. Mr. Wick would do best with someone who considers pets part of the family and can give him plenty of love, attention, playtime, and companionship. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, receives Simparica Trio monthly for heartworm, flea, and tick prevention, and has regular yearly veterinary checkups.

Story
Oakley is 4.5 years old, just under 50 pounds, and an incredibly sweet, loving dog and total cuddle bug. At home with the people she trusts, she loves being close, relaxing on the couch, and getting affection. We recently welcomed a new baby, and unfortunately Oakley has not adjusted well. She has started growling and snapping at times, and we’ve realized she needs an adult-only home with no children and cannot be placed in a home with another dog. Oakley is very anxious, especially outside the home and in busy environments. She would do best in a quiet home with a fenced-in yard, a predictable routine, and someone experienced with anxious/reactive dogs. She is fully potty trained and crate trained at night. This is incredibly difficult for us. Oakley is deeply loved, and our priority is finding the right home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and happy.

Story
Sadie Mae was a rescue five years ago. Our life circumstances and situation has changed, and it has been difficult for her. She no longer gets along with our other two dogs, and everyone’s quality of life has diminished as a result. Sadie is 5 years old. She is a mixed breed pup, but mostly Chihuahua and Australian Cattle Dog. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Sadie has some allergies, which require a daily medication and a very minor special preparation of her food (her kibbles need to be kept on the freezer). She has additional as-needed skin sprays as well for flare ups. We would love for Sadie to be adopted by someone who owns their home, either a single woman or a family. No apartments and no single men - she’s very vocal and doesn’t warm up to men quickly. Sadie is overall good with kids, but can get overwhelmed easily. Sadie thinks she’s the size of standard Chihuahua. She’ll sit on your lap and lick you to death! She’ll want to sleep in your bed to be close.
