Hazel is a 8 month-old female Pit Bull and Chocolate Lab mix. She is an incredibly sweet, friendly puppy who loves people and gets along well with everyone she meets. Hazel has a loving personality and is always excited to give affection and be part of the family.As a young puppy, Hazel is very energetic and active. She thrives with plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention, and would do best with a family or individual who has the time and lifestyle to help meet her physical and mental needs. With three children and a busy household, we have realized that we are unfortunately unable to give Hazel the level of activity and engagement she deserves.This decision has not been easy because Hazel is truly a wonderful dog. We want to find her a loving home where she can continue to grow, receive plenty of exercise, and get all the attention she needs to be her happiest and healthiest self. She would make a fantastic companion for an active family.

Scarface is a 3 years old soon to be 4 years bluenose pitbull/bullmastiff mix, I have had him since he was 10 weeks old, due to hard times it’s been hard being able to provide for his basic needs. He is amazing and caring with children, loves to play with other dogs even cats. Is not aggressive at all. He is protective will bark if he hears noise at the door, or when walking outside if someone gets close he will bark. He has never bitten anyone or shown aggression of any kind. He won’t even growl if you you touch his food while eating. I would love for him to go to a loving home who is able to provide for him and give him the best life.

Large, 40 LBS, striking dog, grey coat, mixed - she is wonderful, but moderately high energy & smart (2 years~). Likely a better fit for a home with a yard and/or a moderately physically active household, read: will give her an outlet for her energy, she loves to run with other dogs, be with her people, and enrichment activities. Interested in placing her in a home with someone who understands dog body language. She is shy and slow to warm. Off-leash: She is friendly with other dogs her size or smaller who are mellow, playful. Once she she warms up, she will run and play with other dogs. On-leash: She is skittish and has made a lot of progress, but a potential adopter needs to be aware that she has anxiety on the leash that is very different from her behavior off leash. For example, I will cross the street with her when I see a dog or person approaching us. note: She has gone through a couple obedience classes and is highly trainable, she knows recall, basic commands, sit/down

Story
Oakley is 4.5 years old, just under 50 pounds, and an incredibly sweet, loving dog and total cuddle bug. At home with the people she trusts, she loves being close, relaxing on the couch, and getting affection. We recently welcomed a new baby, and unfortunately Oakley has not adjusted well. She has started growling and snapping at times, and we’ve realized she needs an adult-only home with no children and cannot be placed in a home with another dog. Oakley is very anxious, especially outside the home and in busy environments. She would do best in a quiet home with a fenced-in yard, a predictable routine, and someone experienced with anxious/reactive dogs. She is fully potty trained and crate trained at night. This is incredibly difficult for us. Oakley is deeply loved, and our priority is finding the right home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and happy.
