Story
Beau is a big sweetie. 65 lbs of love and attention seeking! He is dog aggressive, but has never met a human he doesnt already love, despite a background of abuse and neglect. As far as we know he was pulled off the street as a puppy then neglected for several years in a small apartment without much outdoor access. He has been with us for about 3-4 years now. The big issue is hes not getting the attention and time he deserves. He doesnt like playing in the yard alone but we havent been able to get him out on regular walks since we had 2 kids. He isnt aggressive or rough with the babies at all but he doesnt see them as more than moving furniture. He will run right over them.. but also accepts snacks from them gently. He doesnt really enjoy their pets. Hes not hard to control with his pinch collar on walks when we see other dogs but we play it very safe. He just wants to be cuddled. All day!

Story
We gave this girl the name Mika, she was a stray found in our neighborhood and brought to me because I volunteer at a shelter. We tried to locate an owner with no success. We got her all shots needed and had her spayed. We tried to keep Mika but her and my dog did not get along even after working with a trainer. She is a super sweet girl that absolutely loves people but just not other dogs, even on walks barks at them, she would do great if could work with a trainer. She does great in the house, is well behaved and does not jump on people. Mika has been with friends and family who have been trying to help out with her care and does very well no matter where she is.. we love her very much and want her to have a forever home.

Dasher is about 2 years old mixed breed. He's timid, but once he gets to know you, then he will stay by your side. He's house trained and knows a lot of commands. He enjoys playing outside. He will do well in a house with structure. Does best with older kids (he likes his personal space). He enjoys all of the petting and scratching on his chest. He will make a great companion once he has found his best friend/family. Last physical 9/26, UTD on vaccines, heartworm and Lyme negative, microchipped, and neutered.

Cosmo is a loving, sweet, and energetic 4-year-old, 60-pound dog who thrives on running, playing, and being outdoors. Adopted as a puppy from a shelter after arriving from Texas in poor condition, he was nursed back to health by the devoted family who has loved him ever since. As their family has grown to include two small children, time and flexibility for Cosmo’s high activity needs have become limited. While he is affectionate and loyal with his family, Cosmo can be anxious in unfamiliar environments and around new people, especially children he doesn’t know. He is not comfortable with other dogs and would do best as the only pet. Cosmo deserves an active and patient home where he can feel secure, get plenty of exercise, and truly thrive. This difficult decision comes from love and the desire to give him the life he deserves. In the right home, Cosmo will be an intensely loyal, affectionate, and fun companion. If you believe Cosmo is a good fit for you, we would love to connect!

Piper was given to us by a family friend. Since getting her our house was sold and our lease agreement was changed in the process allowing us to only keep one of our animals. She’s a sweet dog we’ve had her less than 5 months and she’s been amazing the whole time. We’ve been working on getting her house broke she does great if you stick to a schedule of walks.
