Story
Sadie is a 9 year old 25lb tan/white/yellow mix breed dog. She is a very wound up high drive type of dog. She will run for hours if she can but she also has a chill side and can sit on a couch for hours too for quiet time. She’s small but she’s fast, she has lots of energy for strangers and new people she meets and will jump if not caught quick enough. She means no harm but has way too much energy. Our busy lifestyle does not suit her needs, we would love to see her go to a good home that can tend to her energy level.

Story
Looking for a home for my niece’s dog. He is a 2 year old male mix breed Belgium malnois with unknown breed. He is small 28 lbs. We are looking for a forever home for him since he doesn’t get along with our two pit bulls. We have tried integrating them several times and he is aggressive towards them. He is very hyper and will do well in a home where he is the only pet. Preferably with someone who is active and not a couch potato. He loves to play fetch and loves snuggling. However, he has separation anxiety and needs someone who is patient with him. We will want to meet the potential owner and their home to ensure it is a match for him. Serious inquiries only please.

Story
Piper turned two in Dec 23. We were told she’s a Dutch Shepherd, but she may be mixed. She’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and full of energy. She’s fully potty trained. She’s okay with cats and currently lives with a smaller dog, but she’s food protective, so they eat in separate rooms. She may do well with a calm, larger dog after slow introductions and proper boundaries, but we believe she’d thrive most in a home where she’s the only pet. She’s amazing with adults and older kids, though not the best fit for homes with small children. She’d love a big yard where she can run and play—she has so much energy and joy to share! We love her deeply, but our lease only allows one dog. We originally took her in temporarily for a sick friend, but her owner never returned. We’ve cared for her since, hoping to find the right home. It’s been tough, but we’re doing all we can to avoid the shelter. She deserves a happy, active home full of love, patience, and play.

Story
Maya is a very cuddly easy going dog. She is generally very quiet and is not needy at all. She enjoys lounging around her people and is very food motivated. She also loves going on walks. She will bark at new people who enter the home but usually relaxes after a bit and enjoys pets/cuddles.Unfortunately she is not good with other dogs and can get very aggressive when she comes across one. This makes it very difficult to walk her and give her adequate exercise. Randomly she can be okay with other dogs and generally cohabitates okay with our older dog (with some bullying). We have a one year old child. Maya was uninterested during infant stage and is tolerant with pets/pokes now. We do not allow them to be close together without arms length supervision. We love this dog very much but we are going to have another baby and our older dog has more needs. We believe for everyone’s quality of life it is better to rehome Maya if we can find a good fit.

Story
Simba is a 2.5-year-old Cane Corso with fear-based anxiety and separation anxiety. He has no bite history, but because of his size, his fearful behaviors can sometimes be intimidating. He is highly food and toy-motivated, knows basic commands, and responds well to training when reinforced consistently. He does well at home overall, but struggles more in unfamiliar environments and with anxiety-related behaviors. Due to my responsibilities as a full-time teacher and graduate student, I no longer have the time, financial flexibility, or lifestyle needed to properly support his behavioral needs long term. I have tried multiple strategies including training, diet changes, calming supplements, increased exercise, white noise, and environmental adjustments, but his anxiety continues to require more support than I can realistically provide. I am looking for a patient, experienced home that understands large breeds and is willing to continue working with him.
