Story
Sadie is a 9 year old 25lb tan/white/yellow mix breed dog. She is a very wound up high drive type of dog. She will run for hours if she can but she also has a chill side and can sit on a couch for hours too for quiet time. She’s small but she’s fast, she has lots of energy for strangers and new people she meets and will jump if not caught quick enough. She means no harm but has way too much energy. Our busy lifestyle does not suit her needs, we would love to see her go to a good home that can tend to her energy level.

Story
Rhoda is super lovable. We unfortunately have to rehome because she has become increasingly more anxious around our 20 month old son so she would need a home with no young kids. She loves to exercise and cuddle and gets along great with our other dog. She is dominant so takes a bit for her to warm up to certain dogs but very trainable.

Story
We rescued Pepper from a local rescue 3 years ago. We're heartbroken about re-homing him. Pepper is extremely loyal, loving, affectionate and sweet, and he's great with people including kids. Unfortunately Pepper is not great with other dogs which we didn't know when we adopted him. We have another dog and Pepper has made her life challenging. We also discovered that our older daughter has a severe dog allergy which has compounded our challenges & heartbreak. Pepper is 5 yrs old, fully house trained and crate trained, loves to walk on his leash and is so so loyal. He whole-heartedly enjoys belly rubs, being pet, and being loved by humans --- he's even great w/ strangers such as a delivery guy entering the home. Pepper is a good boy who just wants to love and be loved by humans. He's used to having a fenced in back yard and loves sun bathing. He has a ridiculously cute snaggle tooth/underbite which initially drew us to him 3 years ago. If you are a one-dog family, Pepper is perfect.

Story
Gwendolyn and Norman Long, lanky and adorable as ever - Gwendolyn and her brother Norman recently arrived from Alabama with their siblings and are ready to find their forever homes! They are 3 months old and their breed mix is a mystery - maybe some shepherd, hound, there could even be some catahoula in there! We expect them to be medium-large when they’re finished growing. These pups absolutely love people and will follow you around everywhere! They recently attended an event and loved greeting everyone. They enjoy playing with the bigger dogs in their foster home, love to run around and explore the yard, play with toys, and have been exposed to cats. Gwendolyn has the cutest pink nose. Norman is small and has adorable freckles on his nose. They are both very brave when playing with the resident dogs. These cute pups will need families that are patient and dedicated to all of their puppy training including housebreaking, crate, obedience, socialization and more! They are microchipped and utd on age appropriate vaccines. Apply today to add one of these playful, active, and loving pups to your family! They will be ready to go home starting 5/16. http://www.coldnosewarmheart.org/dog-application.html @cnwhnj @coldnosewarmheartnj

Story
“Some dogs show their bravery loudly — Bria shows hers quietly.” 🐾 When Bria first came into foster, the world felt big and scary. But true to the meaning of her name — Bria means strength and resilience — she’s been bravely learning that people can be kind. About a year old and 27 pounds, Bria is a gentle, sweet soul who’s slowly discovering confidence, one small step at a time. A treat from your hand, a curious sniff, a soft wag — every day she gets a little braver. Bria is looking for a patient home that will celebrate those quiet victories and give her the time she needs to keep blooming. Sometimes the most special dogs are the ones who just need someone to believe in them. Bria is ready for her person. 💛 http://www.coldnosewarmheart.org/dog-application.html @cnwhnj @coldnosewarmheartnj
