This is our sweet Jersey girl. We love her with all of our hearts, and it breaks me to be creating this profile for her. Our only goal is to find the best possible home for Jersey, one where she can feel safe, understood, and loved for the amazing dog she is. My husband and I adopted Jersey a little over 7 years ago when she was just 3 months old. We rescued her from a shelter in New Jersey, which is where she got her name. She was found in Alabama with her brothers and sisters before being transported to the shelter, and I have always wondered what her first few months of life were like. When we brought her home, she was an anxious little puppy but also the happiest, most bubbly girl. I truly felt like I won the lottery with her. Jersey has been such an important part of our family. She has been with us through so many seasons of life, and she is incredibly loved. She is loyal, affectionate, playful, and has such a big personality. She is a great dog, very laidback. She can be a little shy at times, but makes up very quickly. She loves attention and likes to be by your side😊 she is a mixed breed, we don’t know much about her history, we did adopt her about 4 years ago, we’re thinking she is at least 5 years old. We certainly would not be giving her up but we’re moving into a townhouse and can’t have her there😢 Whoever adopts her with get a very lovable dog

Story
I adopted Goose from the SPCA 3 years ago. His previous owners were taken to jail and he was seized with 2 other dogs. Goose is a very rambunctious young lad. His age is estimated to be 5-6, however he has the energy of a puppy. Unfortunately, I am at work 10 hours of the day, and Goosey gets lonely. He also attempts to play with my 14-year-old cat who now has a decreased quality of life due to having a silly dog in the house. He deserves a home with a large fenced in yard, and someone who is home more often. Goose can be hit or miss with other dogs and tends to get along best with female dogs his size or larger. His report card after staying over night at the kennel said he was "a sweet boy, happy-wagging his tail, curious about everything- didn't appear anxious". Goose has a lot of love to give and will request pets and cuddles at any time. Sitting on the couch? He will jump up and cuddle with you!

We need to rehome Willow because we are selling our home to travel full time in a motor home. She needs space to run and we won't have that.

She’s a sweet, easygoing girl who loves the simple things in life— eating, snuggling, and sleeping! She’s wonderfully calm and doesn’t bark much, only when she’s “ringing the doorbell” or letting you know someone’s at the door. She’s wonderfully calm absolutely loves a good scratch and will happily soak up all the attention. She’s also very food-motivated, which makes her both fun and easy to reward. Overall, she’s a loving, relaxed companion who’s happiest when she’s cozy, well-fed, and close to her people.

Story
Lola is a 9 year old brindle Chihuahua Daschund mix. When we first got her we did not have any children for two years and she was treated as our only child. We now have two toddlers and a newborn and the added responsibility of a dog who needs more attention than we can give her now weighs on us daily. She is a high energy dog who would love to go on walks, She would prefer to be in a more quiet home with less chaos/anxiety inducing activity going on around her. She is very anxious when in a crowd or when new people are over and the unpredictable nature of kids seems to scare her. Ideally we will find her a loving home with no children or other pets. We have all of her vet records/receipts from over the years.
