This is our sweet Jersey girl. We love her with all of our hearts, and it breaks me to be creating this profile for her. Our only goal is to find the best possible home for Jersey, one where she can feel safe, understood, and loved for the amazing dog she is. My husband and I adopted Jersey a little over 7 years ago when she was just 3 months old. We rescued her from a shelter in New Jersey, which is where she got her name. She was found in Alabama with her brothers and sisters before being transported to the shelter, and I have always wondered what her first few months of life were like. When we brought her home, she was an anxious little puppy but also the happiest, most bubbly girl. I truly felt like I won the lottery with her. Jersey has been such an important part of our family. She has been with us through so many seasons of life, and she is incredibly loved. She is loyal, affectionate, playful, and has such a big personality. This is Jazzy! She is a 7-year-old gentle giant. Her dad (my neighbor) passed away a few days ago, and she needs a new human companion! She is super sweet, a gentle giant, and just needs to be loved. She does not require a lot of walking since she is older and has a harder time moving around. If you are willing to adopt or be a foster for Jazzy, please reach out! Violet is a Lab mix rescued in 2020, who turned 6yrs and weighing approx. 50lbs. She needs an experienced adopter who understands reactivity and can keep her disciplined and consistent. She is not friendly with other dogs. Does well with our cat. She is food motivated and why I say no to young children. She follows commands, best one is findiIt, high-five, sit, and wait. Can be afraid at times and needs reassurance. Enjoys warm baths and will allow herself in the tub and remains calm. Does very well during kennel stays as long as she is in a private room and is playful with the team. Energetic but enjoys lounging and thrives in a peaceful, stress free environment. Enjoys long walks and the outdoors watching birds and if she could, chase every squirrel. Likes sitting on the couch and playing with her favorite toys and being by your side and on the lap. Desiring her a home who can love her dearly and continue to make her a successful and a happy companion.

She loves attention and likes to be by your side😊 she is a mixed breed, we don’t know much about her history, we did adopt her about 4 years ago, we’re thinking she is at least 5 years old. We certainly would not be giving her up but we’re moving into a townhouse and can’t have her there😢 Whoever adopts her with get a very lovable dog
