Story
I adopted Goose from the SPCA 3 years ago. His previous owners were taken to jail and he was seized with 2 other dogs. Goose is a very rambunctious young lad. His age is estimated to be 5-6, however he has the energy of a puppy. Unfortunately, I am at work 10 hours of the day, and Goosey gets lonely. He also attempts to play with my 14-year-old cat who now has a decreased quality of life due to having a silly dog in the house. He deserves a home with a large fenced in yard, and someone who is home more often. Goose can be hit or miss with other dogs and tends to get along best with female dogs his size or larger. His report card after staying over night at the kennel said he was "a sweet boy, happy-wagging his tail, curious about everything- didn't appear anxious". Goose has a lot of love to give and will request pets and cuddles at any time. Sitting on the couch? He will jump up and cuddle with you!

Story
This is our sweet Jersey girl. We love her with all of our hearts, and it breaks me to be creating this profile for her. Our only goal is to find the best possible home for Jersey, one where she can feel safe, understood, and loved for the amazing dog she is. My husband and I adopted Jersey a little over 7 years ago when she was just 3 months old. We rescued her from a shelter in New Jersey, which is where she got her name. She was found in Alabama with her brothers and sisters before being transported to the shelter, and I have always wondered what her first few months of life were like. When we brought her home, she was an anxious little puppy but also the happiest, most bubbly girl. I truly felt like I won the lottery with her. Jersey has been such an important part of our family. She has been with us through so many seasons of life, and she is incredibly loved. She is loyal, affectionate, playful, and has such a big personality. She loves her people deeply and has brought us more

Story
In Oct. 2025, Oscar was found at approximately 8 weeks old abandoned in a park, severely underweight. Since then, he's received veterinary care (he is neutered and vaccinated), manners, socialization, and, most importantly, love. He has grown into a healthy, happy, sweet dog who loves to cuddle just as much as he loves to play.Oscar knows basic manners (sit, down, etc.), is crate and house trained, rides in the car, walks on leash, settles after play, and has never shown aggressive behavior. He's a good boy! He can be shy at first, but he quickly warms up and is eager to make a new friend. Whether he's playing outside or curled up beside you at the end of the day, Oscar is happiest simply being part of the family.Because of back surgery and lack of a fenced yard, I can not provide the level of activity he now needs and deserves as a young, active dog. He needs a family or person with an active lifestyle or fenced yard.Adoption fee will be donated to a rescue of adopter's choice.

Story
We aquired Nala from PAWS rescue in 2019, she is 7 years old. She is overall a sweet girl, but has issues with other female dogs, and in the past year has started fights with our other female dog. She is fine with our male dog. She has never bit a human and otherwise a sweet girl. She loves to cuddle and sunbathe. Ideally she would do well with a house without female dogs, a yard she can play in, and lots of love. She is house trained and crate trained.

Story
Benson is five years old, neutered, in good health. and is the softest and fluffiest pup ever! He completed Basic Manners, Intermediate Manners and a Scent work for Fun class. He has lived with 4 other dogs. He is dog selective with unfamiliar dogs. He is reactive to kids. He is a cautious guy, very affectionate, loyal, attentive, an easy keeper with good manners, athletic-he can jump a 5ft fence, and oh so sweet! His canine brother started a fight with him in Oct 2025 and it ended with puncture wounds. It was a traumatic experience for everyone. The boys are currently living in separate spaces in the same house. After working with a behavioralist, a behavioral vet, and the boys living in different houses for 3 months, it has been decided that they cannot live safely with one another. Benson does enjoy and rely on another dog in the household if it's the right dog.Benson is the type of dog that looks into your soul and steals your heart.

Story
2 Female Basset Mix, around 6 to 8 years old. Must go together; they seem to be sisters. Very lovable and sweet. Just do not have the room for them to run and enjoy life. Our work schedule does not help the matter. They will cower when approached. Not sure what type of abuse they have overcome. Extremely lovable and love their ears rubbed.
