He has lived with 4 other dogs. He is dog selective with unfamiliar dogs. He is reactive to kids. He is a cautious guy, very affectionate, loyal, attentive, an easy keeper with good manners, athletic-he can jump a 5ft fence, and oh so sweet!He is being re-homed because his doggy brother doesn't get along with him and our family is hoping for grandkids in the near future.Benson is the type of dog that looks into your soul and steals your heart.

Libby is a smart, sweet, and pretty girl who came over from Kuwait about a year ago. She's now around four years old, about 50 pounds, and we think she is a mix of hound and collie. For a good portion of the day, she lounges around the house, and she loves walks, following her nose, and being outside. We're looking to re-home her because she sometimes gets anxious when left alone inside. We live in a downtown area, and when we've been gone she has scratched at our doors trying to escape - not from separation anxiety but from a desire to be outdoors. She is noise sensitive, so we think she would do well in a home with a nice outdoor area rather than a townhome in a downtown area, with owners who can spend time with her! She is a sweetheart. Training is going beautifully she is great on a leash, almost fully potty trained and obedient to basic commands already. She is going to be a great best friend. Story
I would like to start with saying that this is absolutely the hardest decision I have had to make. Me and my 2 boys love Layla so much and she has been an awesome addition to our family. We are heartbroken to have to find her a new home so we want to make sure its the best home for her. She loves kids and all people and is always excited to meet people. She cuddles with my kids on the couch and is never more than a foot away. We had to leave our apt and move in to help my mom who has a dog of her own and she does not get along with other animals. She has gone after mom's dog so I have to keep her away. It's not fair to her to be locked in a bedroom. Again she would have to go to a home with no other pets. She cannot go to a dog park. Preferably someone with a fenced yard and kids would be best. Just no other animals. Please feel free to ask any questions and we can set up a day and time if you want to meet her. I know you will love how sweet she is.
