Story
Annabel is a 2 ½ year old female sighthound who needs to be rehomed. She has been a very loving dog with us her owners since we adopted her in January 2025, but is overprotective and resource-guarding, making her aggressively reactive with strangers. Because she has bitten two strangers (one in December 2025 and one in June 2026), our landlord will no longer let her live with us. Annabel has a lot going for her: she’s house trained, leash trained, recall trained, enjoys time in her crate, and is a born clown—she’s a body contortionist who makes us laugh! Needless to say, she is a great watchdog. She bonds with other dogs who she considers to be part of her family. She is fully up-to-date with vet physicals. She is very affectionate with family members, enjoying close cuddling and walks. Our highly respected trainer at Wilde Acres in Glyndon, MD has worked with Annabel for 1 ½ years and believes she would make a good pet for an owner with a fenced yard in a relatively quiet area.

Story
Benson is five years old, neutered, in good health. and is the softest and fluffiest pup ever! He completed Basic Manners, Intermediate Manners and a Scent work for Fun class. He has lived with 4 other dogs. He is dog selective with unfamiliar dogs. He is reactive to kids. He is a cautious guy, very affectionate, loyal, attentive, an easy keeper with good manners, athletic-he can jump a 5ft fence, and oh so sweet! His canine brother started a fight with him in Oct 2025 and it ended with puncture wounds. It was a traumatic experience for everyone. The boys are currently living in separate spaces in the same house. After working with a behavioralist, a behavioral vet, and the boys living in different houses for 3 months, it has been decided that they cannot live safely with one another. Benson does enjoy and rely on another dog in the household if it's the right dog.Benson is the type of dog that looks into your soul and steals your heart.

Story
I adopted Goose from the SPCA 3 years ago. His previous owners were taken to jail and he was seized with 2 other dogs. Goose is a very rambunctious young lad. His age is estimated to be 5-6, however he has the energy of a puppy. Unfortunately, I am at work 10 hours of the day, and Goosey gets lonely. He also attempts to play with my 14-year-old cat who now has a decreased quality of life due to having a silly dog in the house. He deserves a home with a large fenced in yard, and someone who is home more often. Goose can be hit or miss with other dogs and tends to get along best with female dogs his size or larger. His report card after staying over night at the kennel said he was "a sweet boy, happy-wagging his tail, curious about everything- didn't appear anxious". Goose has a lot of love to give and will request pets and cuddles at any time. Sitting on the couch? He will jump up and cuddle with you!

Story
I would like to start with saying thar this is absolutely the hardest decision I have had to make. Me and my 2 boys love Layla so much and she has been an awesome addition to our family. We are heartbroken to have to find her a new home so we want to make sure its the best home for her. She loves kids and all people and is always excited to meet people. She cuddles with my kids on the couch and is never more than a foot away. We had to leave our apt and move in to help my mom who has a dog of her own and she does not get along with other animals. She has gone after mom's dog so I have to keep her away. It's not fair to her to be locked in a bedroom. Again she would have to go to a home with no other pets. She cannot go to a dog park. Preferably someone with a fenced yard and kids would be best. Just no other animals. Please feel free to ask any questions and we can set up a day and time if you want to meet her. I know you will love how sweet she is.
