Story
We rescued Pepper from a local rescue 3 years ago. We're heartbroken about re-homing him. Pepper is extremely loyal, loving, affectionate and sweet, and he's great with people including kids. Unfortunately Pepper is not great with other dogs which we didn't know when we adopted him. We have another dog and Pepper has made her life challenging. We also discovered that our older daughter has a severe dog allergy which has compounded our challenges & heartbreak. Pepper is 5 yrs old, fully house trained and crate trained, loves to walk on his leash and is so so loyal. He whole-heartedly enjoys belly rubs, being pet, and being loved by humans --- he's even great w/ strangers such as a delivery guy entering the home. Pepper is a good boy who just wants to love and be loved by humans. He's used to having a fenced in back yard and loves sun bathing. He has a ridiculously cute snaggle tooth/underbite which initially drew us to him 3 years ago. If you are a one-dog family, Pepper is perfect.

Story
Benson is five years old, neutered, in good health. and is the softest and fluffiest pup ever! He completed Basic Manners, Intermediate Manners and a Scent work for Fun class. He has lived with 4 other dogs. He is dog selective with unfamiliar dogs. He is reactive to kids. He is a cautious guy, very affectionate, loyal, attentive, an easy keeper with good manners, athletic-he can jump a 5ft fence, and oh so sweet! His canine brother started a fight with him in Oct 2025 and it ended with puncture wounds. It was a traumatic experience for everyone. The boys are currently living in separate spaces in the same house. After working with a behavioralist, a behavioral vet, and the boys living in different houses for 3 months, it has been decided that they cannot live safely with one another. Benson does enjoy and rely on another dog in the household if it's the right dog.Benson is the type of dog that looks into your soul and steals your heart.

Story
Rhoda is super lovable. We unfortunately have to rehome because she has become increasingly more anxious around our 20 month old son so she would need a home with no young kids. She loves to exercise and cuddle and gets along great with our other dog. She is dominant so takes a bit for her to warm up to certain dogs but very trainable.

Story
Darby is a sweet girl. We adopted her from the San Antonio Humane Society in 2015. She is approximately 11 years old. She is very kind and does well with dogs and kids. She's only been around a couple of cats over the years, but was good with them too. Darby has been living with another dog for the past 7 years who is also up for adoption as well. She is a very easy going girl and loves attention, but seems to be very content with her alone time as well. Darby is in great health despite not seeing a vet on a regular basis. Unfortunately, I have to move and can't take her with me.

Story
With heavy hearts, we are looking to rehome our 4-year-old Mini Bernedoodle Buster. He is a sweet, loving boy who is great with kids and gets along well with other dogs. He is up to date on all vaccinations, not neutered. He is a very attention-seeking dog and requires a home that can provide extra time, patience, and consistency. He is not fully potty trained and does experience separation anxiety. Due to this anxiety, many groomers have declined to groom him, so he will do best with someone experienced, patient, and understanding of anxious dogs. This decision was not made lightly, and his safety and well-being are our top priority. He will not be rehomed to just anyone — a home visit will be required to ensure he is placed in a safe, loving, and suitable environment. We are looking for a committed home that understands his needs and is willing to work with him
