Story
Domino Daisy here was adopted in August of 2023. She seemed like a great fit for our family of 6, almost 7, so we were excited to fill the gap for a canine friend. We noticed she had some baggage (won’t play with toys, runs away during training sometimes, likes men more than women) and so we tried to unpack it with her. As my husband is often at work, I’m left with her most of the time, and she doesn’t respond well to me so far, and from the trainers I’ve spoken with, she’d need a LOT of one on one quality time with me to overcome her hurdles, and I don’t have that to give her. She’s very sweet, LOVES giving kisses and cuddling up. She still won’t play with toys, and will run and hide when she feels scared. She’s over 2 years old now, and may or may not be up to date on rabies. We’re unsure of when the last one was given. She does have a tendency to jump on people, so young children do get knocked down and crashed into time to time.

Wonderful 9 month old girl with a sweet snuggly personality - We adopted Rory a week ago from BARCS and would love to keep her, but unfortunately we realized it’s not a good fit with our 3 resident cats. Rory is a cheerful playful puppy that already knows “sit” and is very attentive, she just exhibits some prey drive with small animals that we don’t want to risk with the cats. She is absolutely lovely and would make a wonderful pet in a cat-free household! *We’ll happily include a 30 lb bag of puppy food, leashes, collar, her toys, and a dog bed to her new family.

As an explorer, he loves space but is well-behaved indoors, being housebroken and crate-trained. Though healthy, his shots need updating. Due to personal circumstances, we can't provide the time or space Chewie needs, and financial challenges have arisen. It's with a heavy heart we seek a new home for him, one with the love and resources he deserves. If you're looking for a loyal friend, Chewie could be the perfect addition. Merlin was adopted from a rescue whom told us he was going to be a small dog, not more than 30 pounds. He turned out to be a large dog (94 pounds) and high energy. He loves to run and play and be with family. He is very skittish around people that he does not know. He learns very well and is very loving and loyal. He would be best in a household with a decent yard to run in. He does well with cats and children. We do not know how he is with dogs. He will make an amazing companion for someone without a doubt. He is skiddish around new people so it may take multiple meetings before he warms up to you.

Willie is a loveable charismatic dog. Willie loves to run and play but most importantly to be loved. Willie is so lovable and just loves attention. Willie would be best suited for a family with no children and no other animals. Willie is a very unique looking dog with one eye hence where he got his name "one eyed willie." Our family nick named him bird and he will answer to this name as well. We are looking for Willie to find a forever home with a retired couple who are empty nesters.

We adopted Maggie when she was just 3 months old and she’s a love. At one year old, she’s very affectionate and loves to play. She’s got a big fenced in back yard and prefers to be outside during the day. We did some dog training with her and she’s super smart. She got along with the other dogs there and loves our older dog. Our cat is a different story - Maggie wants to chase her. We didn’t socialize her enough when she was younger. She barks at people when they first come, but has liked everyone she’s met. We’re looking to rehome Maggie because she needs more than we can give her. I’m a single parent now with three younger kids. She needs more attention and more play.
