Story
Atheno is a sweet 2 year old dog! He is a Doberman lab American bulldog pit bull mix. He’s great with kids and adults! He has lived with a few dogs and gotten along with them great! The dogs he has lived with are rotty/shepard mix a shelter and a beagle mix. There is one dog specifically he can’t get along with and he’s the beagle mix. We have kept them separated but a few times they have gotten in the same room and had a fight. Atheno has never had issues before but it’s not fair for him to have to be separated because of that. So we are looking to rehome him. He would do really well in a home by himself where he can get lots of love and focus. He is pretty well crate trained but still has some accidents as any puppy would. He’s such a good dog and we hope to find the right family for him.

Story
Bellamy is a wonderful dog. He seems to have some anxiety. We have a young child and he growls sometimes at her. I don’t know if it is because he is anxious but we can keep him because of this. He listens to commands like sit and speak. He sings with us. He is 6 years old now and he does shed a lot.

Story
Meet Baxter – A Sweet Soul Looking for a Calm Home Baxter is an 8-year-old sweetheart who’s ready to find his perfect match. He’s a quiet, gentle boy who loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch, enjoying a cozy movie night, and being near his people. He does best in a calm home without other dogs—he’s not dangerous but can be dog aggressive, he prefers to be the only pup. He gets along well with cats and would be happiest with a single person, a couple, or someone older who appreciates a laid-back companion. Baxter is a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s incredibly loving. He does have some anxiety during thunderstorms, but sitting with him and offering a few treats helps ease his nerves. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate dog to share your days with, Baxter might be the perfect fit.

Story
Wyla Nyla is just one year old, petite at 36 pounds, and as sweet as they come. She’s an easy walker, gentle, and just wants to be close to her people. She is a happy, playful sweetheart. She is housebroken, crate-trained when needed, and an energetic, joyful companion who loves to play and explore. She previously lived with two large dogs and was social and friendly with them. She’s wonderful at meeting new people (but needs to learn not to jump), handles grooming and baths like a pro, and is especially motivated by food (treats are her love language!) She has never shown any signs of aggression or resource guarding whatsoever, and does well with kids (but we'd suggest old kids, since she plays enthusiastically). She would do well with a family that can provide training, enrichment, and social time with other doggies. Happy to share her medical records etc.

Story
Ace came to us from BARCs and is a handsome, playful, and energetic young dog estimated to be 1 - 1.5 years old. He’s still learning his name but is already showing a fun-loving personality. Ace loves playing chase, enjoys his walks, and often gets the zoomies when he gets home - he’s very much in his puppy phase. Ace is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. He’s a happy, affectionate boy who would thrive with older children or adults who enjoy an active dog and can provide structure, play, and consistency. We adopted Ace hoping he’d be the perfect fit, but after careful consideration, we’ve realized our current season of life - with very young children and a busy household, doesn’t allow us to give him what he truly deserves. This decision was made with Ace’s best interest at heart. He has been well cared for, loved, and is ready to bond deeply with the right family. If you are looking for a young, playful companion, Ace may be a wonderful match.

Story
We adopted Maggie when she was just 3 months old, and she’s very affectionate and loves to play. She’s got a big fenced in back yard and prefers to be outside during the day. We’ve done some dog training with her and she’s super smart. She got along with the other dogs there and loves our older dog. However, she’s very high energy and tends to stress out our older dog. She barks at people when they first come, but has liked everyone she’s met. Our home life is somewhat chaotic and this is contributing to her anxiety. Maggie barks whenever people are near the house or she thinks ahead heard something. This behavior has become stressful for us. Maggie would thrive in a home where she gets lots of love and attention, has a fenced in yard space, and kids are older.
