Story
Meet Poppy! Adopted as a puppy in 2024, she is an incredibly sweet girl who is gentle with humans and loves snuggling just as much as she loves being outside. Once her harness is on, she’s a wonderful walking and jogging companion. She loves heavy chew toys (Kongs are a must!) and chasing balls and squirrels.Heartbreakingly, we must rehome her. She has developed reactive aggression toward other dogs if she gets hurt or nipped. While she has never snapped at a human and has zero food aggression, this unpredictability is no longer safe as we transition to a family with a new baby.Poppy needs a loving home without young children or other pets. Her ideal family will have a secure, fenced yard (she can be an escape artist!) and can work on her recall. She is also fearful of nail clippers, so she needs long walks or a scratchpad to keep them trimmed. We love our sweet Poppy dearly and want to find her a safe, loving environment where she can thrive!

Story
Rehoming for more space and attention! He’s a sweetie who just needs space to run and someone with more time! I received Nando from a YWCA caseworker in Bellingham, WA, back in February of this year. The vet made a guess at age, which now puts him around 7-8 months old. At the time, I believed I could provide long-term care, keeping Nando from entering the shelter system, but unfortunatly circumstances in my life changed, and I no longer have the time or space for a puppy. I want what's best for him, and in my opinion, that's forming a life-long bond while he's still young with someone in a position to support him long-term.He is a bundle of love and would love an active home. He's been so sweet to my elderly cat, but is untested with children (no red flags, just no long-term experiences). He loves walks and hiking, but hasn't really been tested in swimming.

Story
Scout is a sweet cuddly dog that enjoys companionship. She is mellow at home but enjoys walks or a hiking adventure. She is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash and trained on a collar. She would do best in a home without small children or cats. She does best with slow introduction to other dogs. She has no medical issues, vaccine up to date and microchipped.

Story
Meet Ivy- a scruffy little white whirlwind wrapped in puppy fluff and curiosity, with just enough chaos to keep life interesting and just enough sweetness to make it all worth it. Named in the spirit of Kittie, Ivy might share a connection to a heavy, high-energy namesake, but her vibe is more “adorable mischief in a cloud of fur” than full-on mosh pit. She’s young, bright, and still figuring out what all this big wide world is about- and doing it with enthusiasm. At around 6 months old, Ivy is in that classic “everything is fascinating but also I'm unsure". She approaches life with a laid back belly crawl, curious nose, and a brain that’s constantly updating its list of Important Puppy Discoveries: leaves that move, humans that talk, toys that mysteriously disappear under couches (suspicious). She’s social, playful, and full of goofy puppy energy. One minute she’s investigating something with intense scientific focus, the next she’s flopping into a spontaneous nap like she just clocked out mid-thought. Ivy will thrive in a home that embraces the older puppy phase instead of surviving it. She needs guidance, consistency, and plenty of positive outlets for all that young-dog energy. Structure will help her shine, but so will humor- because she’s definitely the type to make you laugh right after doing something mildly questionable. Underneath the scruff and silliness, Ivy is deeply endearing and eager to bond. She’s building her confidence day by day, learning that people are pretty great and that love comes with snacks, praise, and soft places to land. She’s not polished. She’s not predictable. But she is pure potential, wrapped in white fluff and puppy spark!

Story
Camden is approximately 20 months old. We adopted her in October of 2024. She is smart, affectionate, and deeply bonded to her people. We have another dog and the two got along well until her spay. After which, she became jealous of our other dog. (June 2025). We started one and one training with her, to see if we could manage her jealousy. I think both dogs would be happier in single family homes. She walks well on a leash and is not reactive. The decision was not made lightly and comes from a place of responsibility and love, not convenience. Camden would do best in: A home with experienced dog guardians As an only pet A calm, structured environment Adults or older children who understand dog boundaries Someone that is home with her. She is currently only kenneled 4 hours a day. Camden is a wonderful dog. She is smart, funny & engaging. She just wants to be with her people. She loves going for walks. She loves playing with a tennis ball.

Another sweet angel who was listed on line as needing help here in WA state. The first story we were told was that Lola was needing a home because the man’s breeder aunt was no longer breeding bernadoodle’s & he had people who were interested in her but was worried they would continue this breed her & he didn’t want that. We ended up getting Lola & she was extremely sweet, a little reserved & of course she was because she had been used as a breeding machine. We requested any paperwork on her & he said there was non. We quickly worked out that the actual man & his wife were Lola’s breeders & they were selling her babies & others for $3500 plus tax & are still selling puppies. We found out this to be the actual case & he said it was his wife’s business & not his. Lola was not spayed, needed medically everything & she had, had who knows how many liters? We rescued this little lady & she is flourishing in her foster home & had all of her medical taken care of & now gets to enjoy constant friendship with other dogs and a backyard to run around in freely. We believe every sweet soul such as Lola and her friends deserves to be loved and cherished and given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now Lola is looking for a special family to cherish her and be patient with her and remember what this beautiful soul has been through and a family that meets all her needs. Lola is the most beautiful soul and loves hard when people love her. She knows her world is so very different & a lot more fun & adventures. Her foster mum said she is such a good girl and up for anything and comes when she calls her and gets so excited at times, ie when it’s time to get up, dinner time, going for adventures. She radiates gratitude. She just wants you to love her and she will love you back. She adores being hugged and held & is constantly with one of her foster mums. She also enjoys hugs & loves. She is a really smart girl and adjusted quickly to her foster home. When she finds people who love her they become his world. She is such a soft gentle girl who gets so excited every time she sees her foster mum and her little tail is always wagging with glee. She loves to run and play with her foster siblings and must go to a home with another dog who will be company for her. Lola eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats and supplements. She also enjoys collagen sticks and bully sticks. Lola has been taught to walk on harness & leash & has been doing wonderful. She would need continued work walking on her harness & leash. Lola is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Lola adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning his eyes, grooming her, baths, the hairdryer she loves it all. She also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Lola enjoys playing with toys & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. Lola has learnt to ride in the car and does well in the car and enjoys a good car ride. She is such an amazing, loving little lady. With Lola we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this girl. We are also looking for a forever home for Lola where someone is home during the day or Lola can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Lola is looking for a forever home who will cherish her and love her as she should be loved and be very patient with her and understanding. Lola has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes and sizes and she is currently with other dogs and enjoys their company in her loving foster home. She can be found at times snuggled up to her foster siblings and will want to sleep in bed with you and she does in her current loving foster home. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Lola’s new forever home if it’s a free standing home. Lola is now 51.2 lbs & 4 years old. She is now spayed & a bernadoodle & what she is mixed with we are not sure? We also just got her a dental. She is microchipped, up to date on her shots including DHPP, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we will not redo them except rabies as we will not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. We have spent more on Lola with paying for her medical care, including, shots, spay, dental microchip etc, than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Lola has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have had Lola with small children & did great but we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Lola was conceived so we do not know who her parents were and it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures and decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues and Lola’s friends she will need work on potty training and training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life and that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Lola potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through and what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them and if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training and not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Lola and going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end and are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on and remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview and a virtual home visit using Zoom followed by a meet and greet and if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Lola who understands her needs and that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives and please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Lola has an adoption fee of $895 & is ready for her truly loving forever home and compassion and understanding of what she has been through.
