Story
Willow is the sweetest girl ever! She is about 6 years old. She LOVES long walks and hikes, pig ears, and snuggling like a lap dog even though she is 65lb. She adores the attention at the vet, does great on car rides, and knows all of her basic obedience. She gets along great with our cat and does not have any issues at doggy day care with other dogs. I rescued Willow from the humane society and she has moved cross country with me, and done great in both an apartment and house. We recently had a baby in September, and she has really been struggling to adapt to the change. She has growled at my husband once (no bites) and had a few accidents in the house. Both of these are completely new behaviors for her and determined to be completely behavioral from our Veterinarian. Unfortunately, the baby just stresses her out. I love Willow with my whole heart but I hate that she is stressed by her home now. She will do amazing with an adult who will take her on walks and give her snuggles.

Story
We rescued Rosie six months ago from elderly owners who could no longer care for her. She is a smart, loyal, and devoted companion who has been safe and loved with us ever since. Rosie is house-trained, leash-trained, and responds well to basic commands. She loves daily walks and would thrive with an active adopter. Naturally watchful, she takes her "job" as a guardian of the home seriously and will be a confident, alert dog for her new family. Why does she need a new home? Despite our best efforts, Rosie struggles to get along with our two resident dogs. It’s clear she wasn’t socialized with other pets early on. For Rosie to truly relax and thrive, she must be the only dog in the home. The ideal match: - Adult-only home or family with teenagers (no small children). - Someone who provides structure, consistency, and plenty of affection. - A "single pet" household. If you’re looking for a faithful sidekick, we’d love to share more about Rosie’s routine.

Lucy is very good with cats, she’s lived with 3 and will be seen cuddling with them. Lucy also loves cuddling with people. She needs a loving home with people who can care for her and give her the attention she deserves

Meepo was rescued in Salem at 6 weeks old, he was born April 27th 2024 so he will be 2 years old soon. He has been a wonderful dog, however my health is declining and I am not able to take care of him to the degree that he needs. He is very good with dogs, kids, has yet to met a stranger, is very trainable.

Thierry is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves being close to people. He enjoys cuddles, food, playtime, and feeling included in daily life. He’s very loyal and will happily follow you around just to be near you. He’s great with children and loves to play. He has a lot of energy and a playful personality. In busy or exciting moments, he can get a bit anxious or overexcited, which may lead to barking or impulsive behaviour. He knows where he’s supposed to go to the bathroom, but sometimes makes the wrong choice when he’s trying to get attention. Overall, Thierry is a loving, social dog with a big personality. He would do best with a family who has time, patience, and enjoys an active dog that wants to be part of everything.

Story
We adopted Pistachio from the Humane Society 2 years ago and he’s come a long way. He’s a very sweet dog that just wants love and attention. He’s a big couch potato and loves toys. Pistachio is still skittish around men sometimes and has some resource guarding issues we haven’t been able to work through, which is why we need to rehome him. We have small children who don’t really understand boundaries yet so we’ve had a few instances of him growling at them, some warranted (touching his toys) and some not (baby wasn’t doing anything, he just didn’t like her being on the floor). He’s house trained, uses a doggy door, and knows basic commands. He needs a home with lots of attention but with children old enough to respect his boundaries. He currently lives with a 12 pound dog also, he seems to do great with dogs his size or smaller. If you have any questions please reach out.
