Story
Rosie is a 2 year old mixed dog (~65 lbs) who loves cuddling with people and playing with other dogs. She unfortunately does not do well in the city, and I am looking to find her a home where she can run and play! She loves hikes and swimming, but is less inclined to go on a walk, where she has low confidence around cars and roads. She came to me from a rescue in Texas at 6 months old. During that time she never got to experience outside life and had very limited exposure to people. It was clear when I got her that she was not destined for city life, but needed a lot of work to build trust with people. Flash forward and she is the most loving girl! She’s skeptical of strangers initially, but will soon be cuddling in their lap once she realizes they are friends. Behaviorally she is so so sweet. She’s a couch potato, but also loves playing with other dogs. She is also great with cats and kids. She has very good household manners, and is crate trained.

Story
River is about 4 years old and does very well indoors. She is fully potty trained and kennel trained. She is very anxious around other animals, including dogs and cats, though she has done well with our guinea pigs. River would do best with someone who is patient and experienced with training, and who can help build her confidence. When she feels scared or nervous, she may seem intimidating due to a loud bark, but she is truly caring and affectionate once she feels safe. She has primarily been an indoor dog and was not exposed much to the outdoors early on, so she currently struggles with outdoor environments. With time, patience, and consistency, she has the potential to continue improving.

Story
Dos is a very sweet and loving dog. He is 7 years old. We cannot keep him because he is too big for my recovering wife to handle. She is healing from hip surgery still. He barely makes a noise when he does. He will even give you hugs! The only reason we aren't keeping him is he could knock her over on walks and he likes to jump onto her lap. Which hurts her. He is super sweet and just needs someone to work with him a little.

Story
Camden is approximately 18-20 months old. We adopted her in October of 2024. We have another dog and the two got along well until her spay. After her spay, she became jealous of our other dog. (June 2025) Camden has been in training since we got her. We started one and one training with her, to see if we could manage her jealousy. There was a recent situation that made it clear we are no longer the best long term environment for her. The decision was not made lightly and comes from a place of responsibility and love, not convenience. Camden would do best in: A home with experienced dog guardians As an only pet A calm, structured environment Adults or older children who understand dog boundaries Someone that is home with her. She is currently only kenneled 4 hours a day. Camden is smart, affectionate, and deeply bonded to her people. She likes to be active. I walk her twice a day, play catch, and use a flirt pole. Camden is a wonderful dog.
