Story
Sweetest girl, loyal and protective, such big personality and companionship. Eartha has had a hard time adjusting to life with new babies in the house, and will do best in a no kid or cat household. Very well trained and mannered, she will be your adventure buddy and couch snuggler. We found Eartha at a shelter 5 years ago. She had a rough start with 2 returns to the same shelter (in one case owner had a heart attack, in the other she didn’t get along with the family cats). She was fairly dog-reactive when we adopted her but have given her training and have seen incredible improvement. Looking for a forever home for this deserving and sweet dog who is happiest being with her people.

Story
This 7-year-old darling, with the chocolate chip coat, is waiting to be adopted so she can share her heart with someone special. Raised in an active family, she loves to play and go on adventures, but is at-the-ready offering cuddles when things slow down. Athena is remarkably bright – she learned 5 new tricks, including roll over, in one day! She’s extremely responsive to positive praise and proudly follows commands and instructions. Athena’s sense of smell is so acute it would be fun to challenge her with nose work or scent training! She is a wonderful companion, well trained, and becomes deeply devoted to “her people”. Athena needs a home with an active single, couple, or family, but no other dog as she prefers being Queen Of The Household.

Story
We brought these two 8 month old puppies up from La Paz, Baja Mexico a couple of weeks ago and we are looking for their forever home. These brothers were delivered to a pet rescue in La Ventana, Baja and we love Baja street dogs and think they are just the best dogs. These two can be adopted together or separate. They are both neutered, vaxxed, and potty trained. They are super sweet and are learning so much so fast. They already have great recall, are very friendly to other dogs and people, and we think they will be fantastic dogs! Note: they are very shy with new people but we have seen dramatic changes just two short weeks! They do not present well when they first meet you because they are so scared of new people but they will be cuddling up to you in no time! They sleep next to our bed and in the morning they jump up for all kinds of love and cuddles. They really have such sweet dispositions and will be great pets, together or separated.

Arlington, WA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Duke is a playful, affectionate tripod who does not let his disability slow him down! Our 5 year old family dog is easy to please! His tail thumps with excitement for belly rubs, mealtimes, playtime, and his daily walks and jogs. Duke has sensitive skin & minor allergy symptoms but has responded well to several types of commercial dog food & table foods. Although excited to greet people & dogs, his behavior can be unpredictable. He tends to be very active & dominant when playing with other dogs. On several occasions, he has lunged at people’s faces and snapped at them (children and women). As much as we love Duke, our family can’t afford the risk of injury to the guests who visit our house. Duke would do best in an adult only home where he has a secure yard, plenty of opportunity for exercise, and lots of love. He has responded well to the training I have done with him and likely would improve his manners with more training.

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Letti has lots of behavioral issues and cannot be in a home with any children or other animals. She needs a very experienced handler who is willing to put in the training or is a trainer themselves. She is a boxer mix (the mix is most likely some time of pitbull/ bulldog breeds)approximately around 8 years old, she will not be well suited for an apartment as little noises do set her off and will not be well suited for people who have lots of visitors too. I will go into more detail privately about her behaviors and issues she has but before it gets to that point here is what you need to know, She has a bite history, has had problems with self mutilation, and a history of going after other dogs, and she has lots of reactivity with people and animals. She needs someone who understands how to support a dog like her. Even with all of her issues she is very loving and loyal. For her the rehoming process will most likely have to be a slow process as she gets to know you.

Story
Guapa was adopted from a Baja California rescue, where she was part of litter found in the countryside immediately after birth. She is now almost 2 years old, is energetic, intelligent, very affectionate, and gets along well with other dogs (has lived with 2 others, 1 was elderly and passed away the other about the same age (current). She would do best with a family who would give her more training and frequent exercise. At this time, she walks well on a leash, knows to sit on verbal and hand signal command.
