Story
Peter is a deaf, still highly energetic 12 year old dog. He is trained with some hand signs, and is highly food motivated. He loves blankets, beds and to be tucked in, or wrapped up in a blanket. He will fall asleep in the middle or anywhere on the floor, being deaf he sleeps a lot.I connected with an animal communicator and they told me Peter would prefer to live with a dog that is his size, and someone with a "grandpa, grandma" vibe, someone who is able to be home with him more often. He has lived with a small dog, and a cat. He does need another animal companion, it will take a while for him to warm up to another dog/cat.He is not able to be in a creat due to his separation anxiety. He has made a lot of progress with being dog reactive on his walks, but I'm unsure of how introducing him to new animals will go.I've owned him for ten years, and unfortunately my next residential spot is unfit for him for his developing senior care needs.

Story
Looking for an affectionate boy who will offer hugs? You've found your match with Finn. He approaches all people with interest and love, offering hugs and kisses to everyone and anyone who will accept them. He adores toys including chewing bones, squeaky balls for fetch, and can extract a squeaker from a plushy in record time. He is a go with the flow kind of dog, assimilating to the days plans with ease. Whether it’s a day for a hike or a day to vegetate on the couch, he is happy just as long as he is with his human(s). Finn is trained to sit, stay, come, lay down, and paw. He received training in a formalized setting at a young age. He is very receptive to ongoing training and learning, as he loves to follow commands when prompted to. He is crate trained, house trainined, and very good on leash. He is from a multi-pet household, however we will only be adopting to a single pet household due to history of resource guarding. Also to note, he has a history of medication use for anxiety.

Story
Pax 3 y/o Adventure Dog Looking for the Right HomePax is a 3-year-old pit/schnauzer/super mutt, neutered, about 37 lbs, and truly one of a kind. He’s an incredibly athletic, loyal, and intelligent dog who thrives when he has both physical activity and mental stimulation. This guy is the ultimate adventure buddy. Pax can climb trees, scale cliffs, keep pace with a bike, and loves hiking, running, paddle boarding, and swimming. He’s just as happy retrieving sticks in the water as he is curling up for a cozy snuggle day. Pax has traveled everywhere with us, road trips, ferries, light rail, city outings, coffee shops, you name it. He’s been professionally trained in both on leash and off leash obedience (including e-collar training) and is a solid canine citizen. The important stuff:Cats/small animals: ❌Dogs: ⚠️ (selective, has had dog friends but can be unpredictable)Kids: 14+ onlyWe are making the incredibly difficult decision to rehome Pax due to changes in our household with a baby.

Story
This is Teddy! He’s a very sweet rescue poodle mix who has issues with males. Unfortunately he hasn’t been able to reconcile with my son after multiple attempts (w/lots of treats) and I’m looking for a new person for Teddy. He will do best in a home with a wfh person, no males, and possibly another small dog to keep him company. When he was adopted, he had two other small dogs in his room with him and he enjoyed playing with them. He can be anxious, but will totally open up to you after a few minutes and maybe some snacks. At the dog park he’s shy, but behaves well and will keep close to you. He’ll shyly play with other small dogs and is neutral with larger dogs. He walks great on a leash, loves to sniff all the things, and goes potty outside with regular morning, noon, and evening bathroom walks. Teddy is vocal when anxious and he’s most of the way crate trained, but still needs about 1 more month of consistent crate training. He’s a curious 3 year old who loves to cuddle!

Story
Glen is a 5-year-old Lab mix who we rescued from a shelter 4 years ago, and he has been the best dog! He is a goofy, cuddly, affectionate, and active boy who loves being around his people and being part of whatever they are doing. Glen is very food-motivated and has been easy to train with treats. He is crate trained and is comfortable going in and out of his crate on his own. He loves being outdoors, going for walks or runs, and staying active, but he is equally happy cuddling on the couch and relaxing with his people. He really is the best of both worlds! Glen has a sweet personality and a lot of love to give. He has gotten along well with everyone he has met except for young children, so he would do best in a home with adults only or with middle-school-aged and older children. We are looking for a loving home where Glen can continue to be part of the family, get plenty of affection and exercise, and enjoy all the companionship he loves so much.
