Little Maxwell may be small, but his heart is absolutely overflowing with love.This 4-year-old Cavapoo is as sweet as they come - a gentle, affectionate little companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. Maxwell came to us after his mommy made the heartbreaking decision to find him a home better suited to his needs. She loved him dearly, and he loved her just as much. In fact, he loved her so much that being apart from her was simply too hard. When she had to leave for work, Maxwell would cry and cry, missing his person. Sadly, apartment living made that difficult, and with pressure from the landlord, she knew he needed a different situation.Maxwell does well with other dogs, would likely be just fine with cats, and has lived with children as young as 4 years old. He truly just loves being part of a family.What Maxwell is looking for now is simple: someone to love who can be with him most of the time. He dreams of a cozy lap to curl up on, a gentle hand to pet him, and a home where he doesn’t have to feel alone. He is the perfect little lap dog - content just being near his person.Maxwell will need a bit of help with house training, but he’s eager to please and very motivated by treats and attention, so we think he’ll catch on quickly with a little patience and consistency.If you’re home often and looking for a loyal, loving companion who will adore you with his whole heart, Maxwell just might be your perfect match.
