Story
Jasmine (born: 3/20/2012) is 22 pounds. DNA revealed that Jasmine, is 50.2% Papillion, 22.3% Pembroke Welsh Corgi, 19.7% Chihuahua and 7.8% Pekingese. A social worker advised the Society that there was a little dog in need. Her owner could not take care of her anymore, as she herself would be going into the hospital and not coming home. Because the woman was critically ill, she was not able to look after this little dog properly and Jasmine needed medical attention. We agreed to take the dog in. After an extensive medical workup, Jasmine was available for adoption Jasmine is selective with her friends, but if you approach with gentleness and patience, you might just pass her exclusive friendship test! Once you’re in, get ready for a lifetime of love and loyalty. She adores leisurely walks, being pampered, and basking in admiration. She may not be a fan of cats or kids, but for the right human(s), Jasmine will be a loving companion. We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. The Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center is a no-kill shelter. ✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Moongji🖤🤍 💙 Adogs Updates Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative upon retest. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Moonji was living in a yard in Gimje. Unfortunately, as his elderly owners’ health declined, the dogs were left without proper care for a long time. Adogs gave the owners some time to say goodbye to their beloved dogs before safely rescuing Moonji along with five other dogs. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is a little shy around strangers at first, but quickly warms up if offered treats. When male volunteers visited the Center, he approached first, asking for pets. If young children are holding treats, he may try to take them from them, so caution is needed. * With Dogs: Is not very interested in other dogs and prefers spending time alone. Prefers quiet and nonchalant friends. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he currently lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Potties inside his kennel and also marks on poles. Will need basic training in a home environment. * Walks: When he feels uncomfortable, he might get stubborn and stop walking, but most of the time, he follows his handler well. * Car Sickness: Travels well in the car without motion sickness during short car rides. * Biting: Has a strong appetite so he growls and bares his teeth a little if you pet him when he’s eating. May get mouthy if you forcefully try to hold him. Doesn’t show aggression otherwise. * Barking: Sometimes barks when he’s impatient for food or treats. * LIkes: Loves treats! Even when shy, treats help him open up and respond well to training. Likes to rest in the sunlight. * Dislikes: Becomes cautious and uncomfortable with loud noises or when held forcefully. Is uncomfortable when strangers approach him. * Personality: Has a low energy level, so he is generally quiet and well-behaved. Has an independent streak and is a true "gentle dog" who knows how to enjoy his own downtime.

Story
Meet Tidbit — a tiny heart with so much love to give   This darling Papillon mix may have come from a difficult hoarding situation, but you’d never guess it from the joy she carries in her little body. Tidbit is the definition of a gentle soul learning that the world can be kind.   She can be shy at first and will need a patient, understanding adopter who is willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. But once she settles in… get ready. Tidbit blossoms into the happiest, wiggliest little lovebug you could imagine. She greets her people with full-body wiggles, stands up tall to ask for affection, and absolutely loves giving kisses. Her sweetness is something special — the kind that makes you feel chosen.   Tidbit gets along beautifully with other dogs of all sizes and really benefits from their presence. She’s learning how to “dog” — discovering toys, playtime, and what it means to just enjoy being a carefree pup. More than anything, she wants to trust, to be loved, and to belong to her person.   She’s making great progress with potty training in a fenced yard environment. Leash pottying is still a work in progress, as she’s a bit nervous being out in the open and on display, but she’s trying. Tidbit is also still building confidence on a leash and in public spaces — she’ll need continued support and encouragement as she learns the world isn’t so scary.   She recently had her very first grooming appointment, and while understandably nervous, she handled it like a champ. Brave girl!   Tidbit is fostered in the Reading (Berks County), Pennsylvania area and is ready to head home with a furever family. She is scheduled to be spayed on June 25 in the Reading (Berks County), PA area. She can be adopted prior to June 25 but must be taken to the appointment. For questions about this based on where an adopter lives, please email mostlymuttz@gmail.com.   We would love to see her placed in a home with another dog, and a fenced-in yard would be very helpful. This little girl is looking for a calm, loving home that will let her bloom at her own pace. In return, she’ll give you the most genuine, heart-melting love.   If you’re ready to help this loving girl become her best self, Tidbit is ready to give you her whole heart   ##2676419##
