Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Poppy from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 5 year old female Papillon - Chihuahua mix.  I weigh about 9 lbs. and hoping to find a forever home.  I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea.  I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in.  I fought to survive every day and was so badly neglected.  Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,395 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  We do not guarantee the breed and age of the dogs.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.  Please e-mail at  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application.     May 2, 2024, 2:54 am

PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES ABOUT ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Meet Jackson. Jackson came in to us from a high kill shelter at the plea of one of their volunteers. He and his friend were sent there due to no fault of their own, and thanks to RED both made it out. Jackson has taken some time to warm up but he has learned that life is good, and many of his ghosts have melted away. He does occasionally get nervous still, but boy is Jackson such a happy lovely boy. He adores people wholeheartedly. He has gotten along with all the dogs we have tried him out with in our care. He loves treats and soft beds, pets and kindly being held. He is still nervous with certain transitions, but he has been adjusting better and faster with us each time something changes (location of sleeping quarters, play group, etc.) Due to his need for clarity and guidance we are looking for an adult only home for him that is willing to show a little patience to bring out the sparkly side of this happy boy as we have gotten to know him here. Most of our dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Adoption donation is $450.00 to help cover his transport, vaccines, neuter, daily care, etc. THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN POULSBO, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard - Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). - Western Washington (WA), and possibly Northern Oregon locations at caseworker discretion. No other out of state adoptions at this time. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adoption please fill out an application here: http://www.rescueeverydog.org/Adoption.php Answers to the application MUST be sent via message on Facebook (we do not receive applications sent via email) 1. Once the application is received it will be reviewed by that animals caseworker. 2. If your application is seen as a good fit to the pet you are applying for we will request photos of your fenced yard as well as your current crate or the crate you plan on purchasing. 3. Once received we will schedule a phone interview with you to discuss the pet and the next steps, should a match be seen. 4. Story
Miso is an incredibly sweet boy with some issues. He was approximately 7 or 8 when I adopted him from the shelter, and he's now about 9 or 10. I love him to pieces, but behavioral issues in apartment living after some changes in my circumstances as well as some upcoming medical bills that I cannot afford mean I am forced to find a new home for my sweet son. As I said, Miso is from the shelter, and his background before that is unknown but doesn't seem to have been good - he very much does not get along well with other dogs, so he would demand to be the only pet. He takes a long time to warm up to people, but becomes very strongly attached and socially anxious - despite my attempts to train him, he barks nonstop when I leave the apartment, leading to seriously bothering the neighbors. For this reason, he definitely would do best in a home where someone is usually home to keep him company. He also needs multiple teeth pulled, which I cannot afford.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Brad and Scout King Charles Cavalier-Dachshund-Chihuahua Mix Background Brad and Scout are sweet 2-year-old male brothers who were pulled from a hoarding raid with their siblings and many other dogs. Both are neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and healthy.  Brad is approx. 12 pounds. Scout is approximately 11 pounds. They love to run and chase one another in the backyard, play with toys, chew their split deer antlers, and cuddle together by a fire or heater or sun themselves on the lawn. they have the sweetest personalities and are so easy to fall in love with What Brad and Scout Need These boys need rescue dog-savvy humans who have a ton of love to give and will be patient as each dog learns to relax in their new home and comes to their humans on their own terms, who will not push them and just love them unconditionally. they are young and have a full life ahead of them to be your BFF's. With love and patience, you will have two very loving and devoted fur buddies. Brad is the most outgoing Brad loves to sleep with me at night and bury under the covers, fall asleep in my arms and be in my lap. Brad is super loving with the person he bonds with and wants to cuddle and be with you where you are. Scout is still very cautious and shy and needs time to come around on his own. he loves to be talked to and will take treats. We think once he is out of a busy, often chaotic rescue scenario and in a warm and loving home, he will come out of his shell with his new family. Brad has personality in spades.  Brad will be shy and reticent at first. Once he realizes you are a friend, he will start to trust you, Then take him to bed and by morning you will have a new best friend. Brad wants to follow you everywhere and where he goes Scout goes. You can see Scout wants to be loved and petted as well, he is just so shy at the rescue. How To Meet and Adopt The Boys have been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate Their adopters on proper diet and nutrition for them.   To apply to adopt Brad and Scout they have a $950.00 adoption fee.   All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs.  Please fill out the online application using the link.                                                                                                                                                                            Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we get to know you and can make the best match.   https :// rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 7:31 pm
