Story
If you’ve been searching for a tiny, joyful little companion who will absolutely light up your life, then get ready to fall head over heels for Sugarplum. At around one year old, Sugarplum is the perfect little mix of playful, affectionate, and wonderfully easy to love. And yes—she really is as adorable as her name sounds. With her precious little face, the sweetest smile, and those bright, happy eyes, she has a way of instantly melting hearts. She’s the kind of dog people stop for, smile at, and fall in love with in seconds. But Sugarplum isn’t just cute—she has the personality to match in the best possible way. Just look how adorable she is in her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/aTCxvjofykU?si=ZD5HPITysZKs9xwJ This little girl is a total people-lover. She thrives on being close to her humans and is happiest when she’s right by your side (or even better—snuggled up in your lap). She absolutely adores affection and will soak up every bit of love you give her. Pets, cuddles, kisses… she’s always saying “yes, please!” One of her cutest little quirks? When she’s really enjoying the attention, she’ll roll around on the floor, wiggling with pure happiness, just soaking in all the love. It’s impossible not to smile when you see it—her joy is completely contagious. Sugarplum is also tiny and easy to take along with you, making her the perfect little companion for someone who wants a dog that can be part of their everyday life. Whether it’s running errands, visiting friends, or just lounging at home, she’s more than happy to be right there with you. She’s got that “take me anywhere” kind of personality—and she’ll love every second of it as long as she’s with her person. She is incredibly friendly with everyone she meets. New people? Instant friends. She greets the world with a happy heart and a wagging tail, always ready to share her love. Her sweet, gentle nature makes her such an easy addition to so many different types of homes. Despite her small size, Sugarplum has a big, beautiful personality. She’s playful, loving, a little bit silly, and just the right amount of “bougie baby” energy—she knows she’s special, and honestly… she’s right. She would do wonderfully in a home where she can get lots of love and attention—whether that’s someone who wants a constant little sidekick, a family ready for a sweet and gentle companion, or anyone looking for a dog who will truly bond deeply and bring so much joy into their life. Sugarplum isn’t just a dog you adopt—she’s the kind of dog who becomes your little shadow, your cuddle buddy, your daily dose of happiness, and your best friend all wrapped into one tiny, adorable package. Dogs like her don’t come around often. She’s loving, happy, affectionate, easygoing, and completely irresistible. If you’re ready for a life filled with cuddles, smiles, and a whole lot of love… Sugarplum is ready to be yours. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Stormey, previously known as Mango, came to us via Tri City Animal Control. She came in with a companion who was quickly adopted. However Stormey was left behind due to her medical needs. we agreed to bring her in into our rescue and find her the perfect home. She is mostly blind, we believe she has PRA (progressive Retinal Atrophy) but that doesn't slow her down. She can get around fine once she knows the layout and her surroundings. She gets along well with most dogs and we would assume cats. Children would need to be older and respectful. A fenced yard us preferable as walks can be scary when you can't see what's around you.
