You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**Missy and Mimi-Bonded Sisters** Mimi, Missy, their sister, and their mom were left on a farm near an old barn. When someone found them, Animal Control came, safely caught the puppies, gently leashed their mom, and brought them all to safety. At the shelter, Rompin Paws was asked to help. RPR took in Mimi and Missy, while another rescue took in their mom and sister.   Their mom looks like a Papillon-Dachshund mix, but we do not know who the father is. Their momma is the photo of the larger Black and white pup, with longer fur. Mimi and Missy are darling little girls who weigh 5.5 pounds each at almost 5 months old. They start bashful but then warm up and want to cuddle close. Both enjoy playing with their foster siblings and are learning what toys are. it is so much fun to watch them learn new things and discover how much fun playing is.  The sisters are bonded, and we wish for them to be adopted together. Mimi and Missy have been through a lot together, from being abandoned to being rescued, a long trip to Washington, and now in a loving foster family. They have been by each other and deserve to grow together with their new family. With love, patience, and time, these puppies can become wonderful companions. **Adopting Mimi and Missy** To apply to adopt these bonded sisters, please use the link below. One of our volunteers will review your application and follow up with you to ask questions, address any concerns, and determine whether you are a good match for this pup. If a match is made, the next step will be a meet-and-greet. Please use a computer to complete the application, as tablets and cell phones may disrupt the process. Ellie has transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble, focusing instead on a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition.                                                    The adoption fee for Ellie is $595 and includes spaying, puppy vaccines, rabies, and a microchip.     www.rompinpawsrescue.com             Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 16, 2025, 11:36 pm

Story
Meet Snow White! This lovely Papillon/Chihuahua mix girl is a 10 year old mixed breed, around 9 lbs. If there's one thing  Snow White  loves above all else, it's cuddling her humans and getting belly rubs. She has THE SOFTEST fur. She warms up to new people quickly but does have apprehension with men sometimes. Slow introductions work best in those situations and she's usually asking for pets within a few minutes.  Snow White  is a great walker, and gets extremely excited when asked "Do you want to go...out?".  Speaking of potty activities, she is pee-pad trained and currently pees once at night on the pee pad. She's not a fan of being left home alone, but doesn't act out or bark. She really just loves being with her family--better yet when everyone is home being couch potatoes. Snow White  would do best in a home without small children and cats. She has done well living with other dogs but is a bit of an attention hog and generally ignores her canine companions. Her previous owner loved and cared for her deeply but had to surrender her after a change in life circumstances.    She does have a grade 5 heart murmur that requires a 2x a day pill (Vetmedin), and will need to have yearly visits with the a cardiologist to get it checked.    &#226&#128&#139Snow White is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.  We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Meet UDO, a very happy guy who simply gets along with everyone, humans and dogs, big and small. UDO is a Papillon/long hair chihuahua mix with a very soft coat to go along with his soft soul. He is 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds. He came with that name. This guy was an owner surrender due to the parents moving into an apartment that did not accept pets. He lost his playmate who was a female Shih Tzu. But he has come in and instantly started playing with all of the foster dogs big and small. I have not had any trouble out of him. He is quiet, crate and potty trained and walks well on a leash. There is no aggression in him anywhere, he shares his food bowl and his toys with the other dogs. I have a video I can text you if you are interested. I really like this guy as he has adapted instantly in a new environment. It would be wonderful if he had a pet playmate but he would be fine as an only dog. He loves to cuddle with you and at 12 pounds he is easy to pick up and he will not grow any bigger. You can take him everywhere and expect a well-mannered gentleman at all times. If you are interested in adopting UDO please submit an application on the website below. Thank you for your interest. www.roxysk9rescue.org
