Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and undergoing treatment for heartworm. 2.) Rescue Story * Moonji was living in a yard in Gimje. Unfortunately, as the elderly owners’ health declined, the dogs were left without proper care for a long time. Adogs gave the grandparents some time to say goodbye to their beloved dogs before safely rescuing Moonji along with five other dogs. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is a little shy and tense around strangers at first, but quickly warms up if offered treats. Accepts human touch well. * With Dogs: Is not very interested in other dogs and prefers spending time alone. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he currently lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Currently does only outdoor pottying since he resides at our center. * Walks: When he feels uncomfortable, he might get stubborn and stop walking, but most of the time, he follows his handler well. * Car Sickness: Travels well in the car without motion sickness. * Biting: Is usually very gentle, but may mouth a little bit if you try to touch him forcefully. Doesn’t show aggression. * Barking: Is quiet; doesn’t bark or whine. * Likes: Loves treats! Even when shy, treats help him open up and respond well to training. * Dislikes: Becomes cautious and uncomfortable with loud noises or when held forcefully. Is uncomfortable when strangers approach him.

PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES ABOUT ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Meet Jackson. Jackson came in to us from a high kill shelter at the plea of one of their volunteers. He and his friend were sent there due to no fault of their own, and thanks to RED both made it out. Jackson has taken some time to warm up but he has learned that life is good, and many of his ghosts have melted away. He does occasionally get nervous still, but boy is Jackson such a happy lovely boy. He adores people wholeheartedly. He has gotten along with all the dogs we have tried him out with in our care. He loves treats and soft beds, pets and kindly being held. He is still nervous with certain transitions, but he has been adjusting better and faster with us each time something changes (location of sleeping quarters, play group, etc.) Due to his need for clarity and guidance we are looking for an adult only home for him that is willing to show a little patience to bring out the sparkly side of this happy boy as we have gotten to know him here. Most of our dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Adoption donation is $450.00 to help cover his transport, vaccines, neuter, daily care, etc. THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN POULSBO, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard - Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). - Western Washington (WA), and possibly Northern Oregon locations at caseworker discretion. No other out of state adoptions at this time. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adoption please fill out an application here: http://www.rescueeverydog.org/Adoption.php Answers to the application MUST be sent via message on Facebook (we do not receive applications sent via email) 1. Once the application is received it will be reviewed by that animals caseworker. 2. If your application is seen as a good fit to the pet you are applying for we will request photos of your fenced yard as well as your current crate or the crate you plan on purchasing. 3. Once received we will schedule a phone interview with you to discuss the pet and the next steps, should a match be seen. 4. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**Misty** Misty, her sisters, and their mom were left on a farm near an old barn. When someone found them, Animal Control came, safely caught the puppies, gently leashed their mom, and brought them all to safety. At the shelter, Rompin Paws was asked to help. RPR took in Mimi and Misty, while another rescue took in their mom and sister.   Their mother appears to be a Papillon-Dachshund mix, but we do not know the father's breed. Their momma is the photo of the larger Black and white pup, with longer fur. Mimi and Missy are darling little girls who weigh 8.5 pounds each at 6 months old. They start bashful, then warm up and want to snuggle close. Both enjoy playing with their foster siblings and are learning about toys. It is so much fun to watch them learn new things and discover how much fun playing is.  Misty loves people! She is shy at first and does really well with other dogs, but can also be an only dog if her adopter has the time to spend with her and train. With love, patience, and time, these puppies can become excellent companions. **Adopting Misty** To apply to adopt these bonded sisters, please use the link below. One of our volunteers will review your application and follow up with you to ask questions, address any concerns, and determine whether you are a good match for this pup. If a match is made, the next step will be a meet-and-greet. Please use a computer to complete the application, as tablets and cell phones may disrupt the process. Missy has transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble and focuses on a healthy, canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition.                                                                   The adoption fee for Misty is $495 and includes spaying, puppy vaccines, rabies, and a microchip.     www.rompinpawsrescue.com             Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 20, 2026, 5:35 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Voyage. I’m a 5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a tiny ball of fun with energy to spare! I follow my humans everywhere like a happy little shadow. I’m curious about everything — every sound, every movement, every new corner of the house. I’m super smart and learn things fast. I figured out how to use the stairs and I help myself onto the couch whenever I want — it’s my favorite place to lounge and keep an eye on my people. I’m still learning how to be polite with other dogs. I’m not mean, just a little sassy and still figuring out doggy manners. I don’t need to be an only dog, but I do need someone patient who will let me warm up to new dogs at my own pace. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’ve seen chickens from a distance and didn’t chase them, so that’s promising. I absolutely LOVE giving kisses, and I’m a total cuddle bug. I snuggle right up in bed with my humans; I just want to be close to someone who loves me. I go outside with the other dogs to potty, and I’m doing really well with my routine. I’m playful, affectionate, full of personality, and ready to be someone’s best little companion. If you’re looking for a smart, sweet, energetic pup who will adore you endlessly… that’s me! -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Hi, I’m Decker — professional zoomie runner, snack enthusiast, and champion snuggler! Decker is a five-month-old, 12-pound puppy with the sweetest soul and the biggest personality. Known as Little One in his foster home, he greets the people he loves with full-body wiggles and nonstop enthusiasm. Decker has classic little brother energy, especially with his littermate and best friend, Helm. Together they sprint, wrestle, and play for hours, with Decker often providing a soundtrack of adorable “gremlin” noises when playtime gets exciting (something he’s learning to tone down). While he absolutely adores Helm, Decker is also a sweet boy who enjoys time with his human. Decker can be shy with people at first, but he warms up quickly once he gets to know them. He’s playful with other dogs, especially those who enjoy puppy energy. If another dog barks at him, he may bark back — confident little guy who is overall friendly and playful. Decker’s favorite things include chew sticks, toys, and anything he can gnaw on 🦴, peanut butter Kong treats, food or snacks in general — especially anything others are eating, zoomies and backyard sprints, wrestling and playtime, belly rubs, being picked up, and cozy morning snuggles. Decker is food-motivated and a great eater who sometimes needs a little help getting food out of the bowl because he’s little and not used to wet food and kibble. He’s also doing great with potty training— no accidents as long as he gets frequent, consistent potty breaks. He already understands “no,” listens well, and is eager to learn. Visually, Decker has a soft black-and-white coat, expressive eyes, and the sweetest spotted puppy belly that’s always ready for belly rubs. He is affectionate, playful, and loving — a puppy who wants to be close to his people and will flourish in a home with another dog. "
