Story
Lexie is a 5 month old, 8 lb Pekingese puppy who came from a situation with many other dogs, so she can be a little shy when meeting new people. She may take a few minutes to warm up, but once she trusts you, her sweet personality really shines! Lexie is gentle, playful, and quiet so far. She loves to snuggle and is definitely a little Velcro dog who wants to be close to her humans. Her soft, silky fur makes her especially irresistible! Lexie is still a puppy and is working on feeling comfortable when left alone, as she has shown some separation anxiety. She would do best with a family who can be patient with her as she builds confidence and learns that her people will always come back. Once she bonds with you, Lexie will be your sweetest little shadow and a wonderful companion. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $500, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, and deworming.

Story
Shirley is a 6 month old, 9 lb spunky little girl with loads of personality! Her tail is always wagging, and she loves playing with other dogs and her favorite small toys. She is a happy, playful girl who keeps her foster family smiling. Shirley sleeps quietly in her kennel at night and when her foster family is away. She uses a doggy door and has not had any accidents in the house or her kennel. Shirley does like to make her voice heard and can be quite the little barker, so she would not be a good fit for apartment living. A home where her adorable personality (and her occasional commentary) won’t bother the neighbors would be best for her! To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $500, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, and deworming.

Story
Frankie is a 5-6 month old, 6 lb Pekingese/Chin mix (we think!) who is a sweet, loving, and playful little boy. He absolutely loves to cuddle and be loved, especially when he can curl up in your arms on his back and soak up all the attention. Frankie is quite the little food connoisseur and loves trying new things! Baby carrots are a favorite, and he also enjoys a peanut butter-stuffed Kong. He does very well in a puppy pen during the day and at night and can go through the night without needing to potty most nights. Frankie is doing excellent with his house training and seems to be catching on quickly to the idea of pottying outside. When he is kept on a routine, he does very well and doesn't seem to have accidents. Before coming to Orphan Annie, we understand that Frankie lived in a crate, so his foster family has chosen to use a puppy pen instead. Frankie has been great with kids and loves the company of other dogs. He enjoys playing with his canine friends and would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a sweet, affectionate, and playful little companion! To adopt him, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org His adoption fee is $500, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, and deworming.

Story
Laverne is a 9 month old, 9.6 lb Pekingese who is a little shy and reserved at first, but she warms up quickly once she has some time to feel comfortable. She is still building her confidence, and we love seeing her become a little braver every day! Laverne loves playing with other dogs and enjoys her toys and chewing on bones. When playtime is over, she is happiest curled up on the couch with her people. Once she trusts you, her sweet and cuddly side really shines. Laverne would love a patient family who will give her the time and encouragement she needs to continue coming out of her shell. She would do best in a home with another dog. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $450, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, and deworming.

Story
My dog is 12 years old will be 13 in November. She is a sweetheart and loves to get some rubs. She doesnt bark or make any noise for that matter since Ive had her. I have had her for 11 years and over the years unfortunately she went blind. She doesn’t go on walks because she doesn’t like leashes, I let her walk around by herself in my yard. She needs more attention now that she is getting older and takes a little longer with going to the bathroom. She is potty trained and sleeps in bed with me but I just dont have time to watch her as much as needed anymore.
