Meet Yam!This handsome little guy is an 8-year-old, 20-pound Pekingese/spaniel mix with the most endearing face you’ve ever seen! He has the heart of a puppy and the soul of a snuggler. This Velcro dog loves nothing more than sticking close to his people - whether it’s cuddling on the couch or trotting beside you on a walk. Don’t let his age fool you. Yam is playful, loves romping in the yard with his foster brothers, and lights up in long walks where he can greet every friendly face along the way.He’s great with other dogs and shares his space and mealtimes like a true gentleman. Yam is also potty trained and confidently uses the dog door. He loves cats but sometimes a little too much! Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
