Persian kittens & cats in Longmont, Colorado

Yo-Yo Sam, named after the notorious Yosemite Sam for his long and glorious mustache is looking for his forever home. He's the softest, purri-est, rip-roaring gato that has ever roamed the West. And despite being a Persian, he definitely roamed the West being found abandoned outside in Texas in a condition we like to kindly refer to as "a hot mess." He had fleas, ringworm, a yeast infection in his ears, a cut arm that required stiches, and knots galore. He came to Mother Gaia where we got him all cleaned up and back to his normal Persian behavior of looking beautiful and accepting admiration.  The only trick is that Yo-Yo Sam is not quite the usual Persian. The usual Persian loves to lounge, be admired, occassionally talk, and is friendly to everyone. Well, Yo-Yo Sam does all those things but he also does some "real cat" things too like jumping to high locations and stealing food. Particularly bread. He will rip a slice of bread right out of your hands when you least expected a tiny furry creature with a ridiculous white mustache to do anything athletic or naughty at all.  Sam loves everyone and everything. He cannot get enough human attention. He loves other cats. And oddly enough, he really, really, really loves dogs. He runs up to greet dogs, flings his tiny body against them for head butts and affectionate greetings and then continues on his way leaving the canine species entirely confused about what this weirdo cat just did.  Sam would like us to note that in addition to his favorite food being bread, he also really enjoys fish flavored wet food and anything labeled "salmon", "shrimp" or "crab." Its not his fault he has sophisticated taste - its in his genes. He does have a bit of a sensitive stomach but as long as he is maintained on his current wet food, he does just fine.  Sam is up to date on vaccines, flea-free, ringworm-free, yeast-free, and putting on weight. He is microchipped to prevent another adventure in the great wild outdoors. And he is ready to come home and be an integral part of your family: greeting everyone, having friendly (or sometimes demanding) conversation, finishing up any spare bread sitting around, and being one of the most spectacular mustaches Persians that ever lived.  ##2868181##

My name is CHANEL. I am a 4 year old mixed Persian Long hair Cat. I am spayed and I think my shots are up to date. I am INDOOR cat only. I have a cat sister and dog brother and I think I may be happier in a house with no other pets or maybe pets that are older. I am super mature and don’t really like to be around small children as they frighten me. Wherever I may go I will probably need to remain long haired because grooming scares me a lot. I am super loving and love attention but only when I say so. Looking for a stress free home 🏠

Cardamom is the sweetest, cutest, best girl in the entire world. Little Cardamom loves nothing more than to be held. She is so content in a lap, cradled in hands or lying on her back getting a gentle belly rub. Cardamom also enjoys looking out the window, sunbathing, spring toys and crunchy balls, and playing with her brother, Dill. Cardamom has some special needs that will require a special home. She was born as part of a litter of six in one of our foster homes on May 31, 2026. A few days after her birth, the foster home dealt with a feline distemper (FPV) outbreak. Three of the kittens, including one of Cardamom's brothers, died. Cardamom survived but her early exposure to the illness has left her with permanent balance and coordination challenges.  Cardamom wobbles when she walks, falls over easily, and has a very wide stance. She is unable to climb or jump. She is currently spoon fed wet food and eats a teensy bit of dry daily mostly on her own. She is very enthusiastic about her meals! Cardamom has figured out to use the litter box in a way that works for her, which involves lying down on her side, so she needs a family committed to keeping her box very clean and willing to help her with the occasional clean-up post litter box use. When Cardamom becomes stressed or over-stimulated, she becomes a bit more wobbly, so a calm and lower traffic home without dogs or young children will be best for her.  Cardamom's family must be committed to keeping her safe and clean. She will do best in a home with more carpet/rugs than wood floors. She needs something to grip onto when she walks! Her current home also uses low entry litter boxes, special bowls for meals and bumpers around her bedroom. While she may get stronger as she grows,  she will never outgrown her wobbles. Her condition is not progressive and will not impact her lifespan.  Cardamom is adoption ready! She is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and spayed. We would love to see her find a home with her brother Dill, but, if she is not adopted with her brother, she will need to go to a home that already has a kitten or young cat.  ##2869591##
