Story
This is our cat Luna. She is 10 years old. We adopted her when she was 4 months old. We love her dearly and it is breaking our hearts to have to re-home her. But our vet has recommended for her quality of life to try to find a new home for her. We have been working with two different vets the last two years to try to manage her anxiety due to us having a baby and have not been successful. Luna is anxious, hides, hisses at the other cats and frequently does not use her littler box due to anxiety from us having a baby. Prior to having a child we had zero behavioral issues with her. After two years of testing, diet changes and lots of different medications, nothing has worked. Both vets recommend we find a home for her without other animals and without children. Luna loves to snuggle, be brushed and sit on your lap. She is super chatty and can often be found bathing in the sun in the window. Feather toys and crinkly balls are her favorites. She’s a wonderful cat who deserves to be happy.

Story
I adopted Monte from a local humane society. He is a lover boy who will willingly snuggle and give you head bops. Monte will be 3 in May! He likes to play with cat wands and cat nip balls. Monte does have GI issues and needs to be on prednisolone and hydrolyzed protein food for the rest of his life. I unfortunately have to rehome him due to him not getting along with my dogs. I would recommend him to be adopted into a home with no other pets if possible; preferably no dogs. Also, someone who can keep up with his medical needs with care and love.

Story
Mama Mozzi was one of our most elusive feral cats. She outsmarted all of us and had a litter of kittens in the ceiling. She's calmed down quite a bit with time and will come down from the ceiling to lounge in front of the A/C and on the softest, cleanest laundry. She loves other cats and is often the center of a feral cat cuddle puddle. She will occasionally sniff a hand but otherwise politely declines pets. We would still like to adopt our feral cats to accommodating INDOOR-ONLY HOMES. This could be an exclusively indoor, temperature-controlled building on a property or something like a fire station, book store, etc., Creole will still need to be fed every day and should not be expected to feed exclusively off prey animals on the premise. If there are other feral cats on the property, we don't mind adopting her out as the only new cat on the block (so to speak). Otherwise, if there are no other feral cats on the property, we prefer to adopt out our semi-feral or feral cats in groups of at least 2.

Story
Who are our Working Cats? Some cats are not social enough to live as indoor pets, and prefer an independent lifestyle. These cats have experience living outdoors and are proficient mousers. Since these kitties are happier and more successful outdoors, we put them to work in homes, farms, and businesses where they can do what they do best. All our blue collar kitties are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, ear tipped, and fully vaccinated. Why hire a Working Cat? By hiring a blue collar kitty, you can avoid using toxic pesticides, save money on a pest control service, and provide a home to a cat in need. Adoption fees are waived for our Working Cats. Cats are also more effective than other methods of pest control because they act as a deterrent! If you are interested in adopting a Working Cat, please visit the shelter in person to start the process.
