Story
Romel is a San Antonio kitty who found himself put outside after becoming accustomed to the good life inside. The owner was then going to euthanize him but a Good Samaritan reached out to us to help find him a new home instead- happy to help! Despite looking like the epitome of Grumpy Cat, Romel has a stellar personality and is so so sweet! He was an only cat but in his new foster home with the Good Samaritan we've learned he’s good with other cats! He was a bit scared of the large male cat but did very good with the smaller female. Romel was put outside due to inappropriate urination habits (he pees on things), which started after the owner had children and instead of addressing with Fluoxetine, which routinely helps urinary habits, she made him an outside kitty. This issue is NOT happening in his new foster home! Romel also has some early kidney disease requiring an appropriate prescription renal diet. Rabies, FeLV and FVRCP vaccines updated 3/25/2026. Currently weighing in at 5.3 pounds, but thin. The pictures of Romel shaved are most recent. He became very matted as an outside cat and the owner tried shaving him at home, then the Good Samaritan took him to get groomed and they had to cut more for to get the rest of the mats. It will grow back! Romel is being fostered in San Antonio, Texas by his Good Samaritan rescuer, waiting for a committed foster or adopter to cat call him up to Colorado! Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa. Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado. We primarily rescue dogs off the streets and from kill shelters in San Antonio. ##2696336##

Story
Introducing Purrince Harry 👑 — a very handsome long-haired orange gentleman who brings a double dose of good looks and irresistible charm. At 6 years old, Harry has fully stepped into his regal era. The chaotic kitten days are behind him, and in their place is a calm, easygoing companion who knows exactly how to enjoy the finer things in life: a cozy nap spot, a soft lap, and a human who understands that he deserves attention on demand. He still enjoys the occasional play session with his beloved toy mice, but don’t worry — he prefers his zoomies in short, tasteful bursts, followed by a well-earned snooze. True to his royal title, Purrince Harry is a man of the people. He loves humans and won’t hesitate to grace just about any lap with his presence. Whether you’re working, relaxing, or binge-watching your latest obsession, expect Harry to join you like he’s always belonged there. And if you’ve been neglecting your duties as his loyal subject? He’ll let you know. Harry can be quite chatty, especially when he’s feeling a little lonely or would like some extra attention. While he’s confident and social at home, Harry is not a fan of car rides — he much prefers to keep his royal paws firmly planted in his kingdom. He does well with other cats and has experience with kids, making him a wonderful fit for a variety of homes. We’re not sure how he feels about dogs, so a dog-free home may be the safest bet for this distinguished gentleman. All in all, Purrince Harry is the total package: affectionate, easygoing, and effortlessly majestic. He’s ready to rule your heart… and your couch. Purrince Harry’s adoption fee ($200) includes: • Neuter • Dewormer • FeLV testing • Microchip • Core vaccines • A free 30-day subscription to Petcademy (24/7 cat behavior support!) • A free exam at a ChewyVet clinic + a $50 Chewy gift card • A goodie bag to go home with If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a royal flair and a soft, fluffy presence, Purrince Harry is ready to take his throne in your home. 👑🐾

Story
Boots is a very loving boy who isn’t shy about showing affection. He’s famous for his enthusiastic head butts and loves soaking up attention from the safety of his cat tree. When he feels comfortable, he’s happy to lounge nearby and keep you company. Boots has spent most of his life as an outdoor cat and is nervous around other animals, as he believes they may hurt him. Because of this, he needs a calm, quiet home where he can be the only pet and live without children. Boots does have the adorable habit of drooling when he’s especially happy. He is also working on losing a few extra pounds and will need a family willing to help him stay on a healthy diet. In return, he’ll be a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily remind you how much he loves you — sometimes with a strong head bonk.  you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/cat-adoption-application/ The adoption fee of $50 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2654098##

Story
Olive is a sweet, spunky 8-year-old with soft, fluffy black fur and stunning green eyes. As staff favorite, she’s playful, energetic, and just a little mischievous (Okay maybe she's a bit more than a little bit... But who doesn't love mischief?)! Though she had a rough start in life, she’s now full of personality and ready for a home of her own. She likes cat nip and while she's not super playful, she will often take a nice walk on her cat wheel from time to time. Olive's ideal home will be one with no other pets and children only 16 years and up. She is a diabetic kitty and will require her adopter to be able to give her insulin twice a day, special prescription food, and regular glucose monitoring. CCS staff makes things easy for potential adopters by giving an in depth lesson on how to treat diabetes in cats and will be happy to show a new adopter the ropes! Meet a Lonely Hearts Club Member! Looking for an extra-special kitty? Our Lonely Hearts Club highlights cats who deserve a little extra love and attention. These cats may be overlooked because of their age, medical or behavioral needs, or simply haven’t found the right home yet but they all have so much love to give.
