He is up to date on vaccinations and was recently seen by a veterinarian about two months ago. He is healthy overall.One thing potential adopters should know is that he has an ongoing issue with urinating outside the litter box. He has been medically evaluated, and no health concerns were found. It appears to be behavioral, and I do not currently have the time needed to work through the issue with him.I am looking for a patient, experienced owner who can provide him with the attention and environment he needs to thrive. He thrives in a quiet calm home, loves safe outdoor time, receiving attention and 101 time, My priority is finding the right home for him.

Hi! I’m MASON (DOB: ~01/18/2019), a male purebred Shaded Silver Persian. I was surrendered to a local animal control with several of my siblings when my owner could no longer care for me. I lacked full socialization at the time I made my way to FFRS, but now I am a good boy - making a 180° turn-around since my intake, allow petting, and I would love a calm home with someone who is patient with me. I am not shy or aggressive – I just don’t yet fully understand this whole affection thing. Sometimes I like it a lot. My main motivation is treats that make me very happy. I forget my lack of socialization skills when someone plays with me. I can be petted, but I prefer it just be my head and shoulders and I absolutely LUV my neck massages and will reach out asking for one! I will let you know when I’ve had enough petting by backing away. I have have started purring when I'm petted. I don’t seem to mind other cats as long as they are nice to me but have not met any dogs. My manners are wonderful and with patience, I may become a cat who likes to be nearby on the sofa with you or maybe even on the bed. I don’t think I will ever be a snuggly kind of guy, but I am a good gentleman and will be a good companion. Charlie is a handsome, affectionate cat looking for a home where he can be someone’s loyal companion. He loves being with his people and will happily nap nearby, purr on the couch, and follow you from room to room. We’ve always joked that he’s more like a dog than a cat! He also enjoys supervised time outdoors on a harness and leash, watching birds, exploring the yard, and playing. Charlie would likely do well with another friendly cat, as he doesn’t enjoy being alone for long periods. Since our daughter was born, Charlie has begun showing unpredictable episodes of aggression toward me (his vet thinks due to jealousy) that have not improved despite our efforts. Because of this, we’re looking for a home where he can thrive in a calmer environment. This has been an incredibly difficult decision because we love him dearly and have had him since he was 6 months old, and our only goal is finding him a safe, loving home where he can be his best self again.

Pumpkin is a sweet soul, ready to shine in a home of her own. She and her best friend and brother Lenny joined Furkids after their owner passed away. These two were experiencing the grief of losing the only home they knew, and it took several months for them to come out of their shells. Pumpkin is still a little reserved but has shown that she is a loving, sweet, affectionate girl once she gets to know you. Her brother Lenny is a huge source of comfort for her and his more outgoing personality helps show Pumpkin that new people aren’t so scary. Shane & Roz (young bonded pair) were rescued from the freezing weather and are now thriving—playing hard, cuddling close, and soaking up every bit of love. Shane is playful, affectionate, and always ready for fun. And is a gorgeous longer-haired black and white tuxie. They are phenomenal cats and will do well in a home where they can spend time playing and cuddling together. They get along well with the other cats in the room.
