He is up to date on vaccinations and was recently seen by a veterinarian about two months ago. He is healthy overall.One thing potential adopters should know is that he has an ongoing issue with urinating outside the litter box. He has been medically evaluated, and no health concerns were found. It appears to be behavioral, and I do not currently have the time needed to work through the issue with him.I am looking for a patient, experienced owner who can provide him with the attention and environment he needs to thrive. He thrives in a quiet calm home, loves safe outdoor time, receiving attention and 101 time, My priority is finding the right home for him.

Hi! I’m MASON (DOB: ~01/18/2019), a male purebred Shaded Silver Persian. I was surrendered to a local animal control with several of my siblings when my owner could no longer care for me. I lacked full socialization at the time I made my way to FFRS, but now I am a good boy - making a 180° turn-around since my intake, allow petting, and I would love a calm home with someone who is patient with me. I am not shy or aggressive – I just don’t yet fully understand this whole affection thing. Sometimes I like it a lot. My main motivation is treats that make me very happy. I forget my lack of socialization skills when someone plays with me. I can be petted, but I prefer it just be my head and shoulders and I absolutely LUV my neck massages and will reach out asking for one! I will let you know when I’ve had enough petting by backing away. I have have started purring when I'm petted. I don’t seem to mind other cats as long as they are nice to me but have not met any dogs. My manners are wonderful and with patience, I may become a cat who likes to be nearby on the sofa with you or maybe even on the bed. I don’t think I will ever be a snuggly kind of guy, but I am a good gentleman and will be a good companion. Bethel is a sweet senior cat that enjoys brushing and plenty of treats. She was adopted from the Atl Humane society. I have had her for 10 years and giving her up is the hardest thing i’ve had to do. She loves sitting by an open window with a quiet environment. In her new home, she needs someone that will give her space and let her come to you at her own pace. She can be very anxious at first and eating chicken cat food brings her comfort. She needs an experienced adopter since she is older and has a few habits that need to be accommodated. Overall she is a pleasant cat and would love to chill with you all day!

10 years old / Female / Fixed / Last Shots in 2023 / Skittish but not aggressive After trying for two and a half years to find a solution, husband and I have come to the difficult conclusion that Neo would be happier in a new home. We've loved her dearly, but she has still not adjusted well to our family growing. We have another son due in August as well. She really needs to be in a house without young kids, and without other pets. Neo has been stressed with our son being more mobile- she's started to lose her fur on her tail from it.Neo is 10 years old, and likes to keep her distance. She is on the skittish side, especially when she first meets you, but she will venture into the space with you after an adjustment period. She's not generally aggressive but will let you know without claws that she wants more space. (If you don't trim them regularly you may accidentally get a little scratch). She's a "shoulder cat" when she likes you! **Litter box, food and water bowl, & more included!
