Story
PLEASE only apply if serious and prepared to adopt within the next 1 to 2 weeks:*his hair is short nI’m looking to rehome my 4-year-old Chinchilla Persian. He is a sweet, docile, and shy cat who does well in a calm environment.Unfortunately, my schedule no longer allows me to give him the time, attention, and consistency he deserves. He is up to date on vaccinations and was recently seen by a veterinarian about two months ago. He is healthy overall. One thing potential adopters should know is that he has an ongoing issue with urinating outside the litter box. He has been medically evaluated, and no health concerns were found. It appears to be behavioral, and I do not currently have the time needed to work through the issue with him.I am looking for a patient, experienced owner who can provide him with the attention and environment he needs to thrive. He thrives in a quiet calm home, loves safe outdoor time, receiving attention and 101 time, My priority is finding the right home for him.

Story
*** ADOPTION PENDING - Date TBD *** Hello, I'm BLUE ASTER (DOB: 05/11/2023), a purebred female Blue Cream Persian. I'm full of love to give, laid back, easy going – and my caregivers say I'm friendly, sweet, and gentle. I love cuddles and can't resist a good neck rub or a grooming session. Attention? Oh, I adore it! It makes me purr like a little engine. However, I need to be the only furry attention-grabber in my new family as I am quite the jealous little girl if I have to share your attention with other pets in the home. I enjoy the simple things in life - a warm lap, a gentle hand, a kind word. I promise, if you choose me, I'll be the sweetest, most loving companion you could ever wish for. Adopt me and let's make beautiful memories together. I am spayed, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for Feline FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $350.00.July 2, 2026, 5:15 pm

Story
Hi! I’m MASON (DOB: ~01/18/2019), a male purebred Shaded Silver Persian. I was surrendered to a local animal control with several of my siblings when my owner could no longer care for me. I lacked full socialization at the time I made my way to FFRS, but now I am a good boy - making a 180° turn-around since my intake, allow petting, and I would love a calm home with someone who is patient with me. I am not shy or aggressive – I just don’t yet fully understand this whole affection thing. Sometimes I like it a lot. My main motivation is treats that make me very happy. I forget my lack of socialization skills when someone plays with me. I can be petted, but I prefer it just be my head and shoulders and I absolutely LUV my neck massages and will reach out asking for one! I will let you know when I’ve had enough petting by backing away. I have have started purring when I'm petted. I don’t seem to mind other cats as long as they are nice to me but have not met any dogs. My manners are wonderful and with patience, I may become a cat who likes to be nearby on the sofa with you or maybe even on the bed. I don’t think I will ever be a snuggly kind of guy, but I am a good gentleman and will be a good companion. I am neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for Feline FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $300.00.July 2, 2026, 5:15 pm

Story
Meet Jadis!Born around March 29, 2025, Jadis is a stunning long-haired calico with a truly unique coat—beautiful shades of brown and gold flowing gracefully into soft grey. Her elegant looks are matched by a gentle, quiet spirit.Jadis came to Bossy Paws Rescue from animal control in very rough shape—extremely thin and doing her best to care for her two beautiful kittens, Susan and Lucy, who look just like their mama. Despite everything she’s been through, Jadis has shown incredible resilience and devotion. She’s still a tad shy and learning that the world can be a safe and loving place, but with patience and kindness, she continues to come out of her shell more each day. Jadis would thrive in a calm, understanding home where she can build confidence at her own pace.If you’re looking for a gorgeous, gentle companion and have a heart for helping a shy kitty blossom, Jadis may be the perfect match for you.Her adoption fee is $100. Apply today at BossyPawsRescue.org and give this sweet mama the forever home she deserves.Info@bossypawsrescue.org 678-267-9977

Story
sib: Mars Q"Do you want a sweet lap cat who wants nothing more than to be loved? Are you hesitant to get a cat because they jump on counters and tables? We are the right fit for you! Moon and Mars have cerebellar hypoplasia, which is a condition developed in-utero that prevents their cerebellum from fully forming. The cerebellum is responsible for coordinating movement and balance. As a result, they have some mobility issues. CH is often called wobbly cat syndrome. It is a harmless, non-progressive condition. It is not a disease and is not transmittable to other animals. CH cats have similar life spans and overall health as non-CH cats. You can learn more about this condition here: https://vetmed.tamu.edu/news/pet-talk/wobbly-cat-syndrome/  or with a Google search.   Moon and Mars are semi-bonded brothers but would probably be ok separated. They are both considered 'moderate CH' meaning they are mobile but are not going to be running around your house. Moon is the more mobile of the two and regularly gets up to walk around but is very content to hang out in your lap. Mars is slightly less mobile but will get up and try to walk, but would 100% rather be in your lap. They are both very affection and food motivated, so if they sense they are going to get pets or a delicious snack, they do everything they can to get to you. Moon kind of flops more than walks, but we are working on strengthening his legs so he has more confidence to walk more. Both kittens will get where they want to go when they want to go (except on high surfaces) but would really love to be lap kitties. Their little motors run like crazy when they are getting love! They have normal cat personalities-want to play, get loved, eat canned food- but these guys are extra sweet. They are able to use the litterbox with the only accommodation being a lower walled box to get in easier. They eat and drink like normal. They would be perfect for a smaller home or apartment, preferably with carpet or rugs to make it easier for them to get their footing. Please consider these sweet boys as a great addition to your home!" Are currently being introduced to dogs but are a little fearful. Kids are good.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 8, 2026, 7:45 am
