Meet Nala! Nala is a gorgeous 8-year-old girl with a big personality and plenty to say! This chatty sweetheart loves to let you know what's on her mind, making her a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys a vocal feline friend. Like many cats, Nala has her own preferences. She's a fan of Iams Blue Bag dry food and appreciates sticking to her favorite menu. She can be a little skittish when meeting new people or adjusting to new surroundings, so she'll do best with a patient family who will let her settle in at her own pace. Nala isn't much of a lap cat, but she loves sharing quiet moments with her people. Her favorite place is curled up beside you in bed for a cozy nap. When it comes to affection, Nala likes to be the one to initiate it—she'll happily ask for pets when she's in the mood, and respecting her boundaries is the key to earning her trust. My best friend Brody and I have been sad, but now we are at the shelter to find a new home together. I am a little shy, but I am very sweet, and I love being petted. I miss the companionship that I had with my person. I like to play, but I am not overly active. My lovely coat became matted from lack of care and needs grooming. Svetlana is playful, loving, and completely adorable. She’s a true snugglebug who loves curling up with her person, happily making biscuits while soaking up affection. When she’s not cuddling, she’s busy entertaining herself with life’s simple joys—folded socks, strings, and boxes are her favorite toys. She has a hilarious “hunter” streak and proudly stalks dish towels from the kitchen, delivering her prizes straight to her chosen human like a gift of love. Svetlana is very curious about the outdoors and would love to explore, but she’s kept safely inside since she lives on a busy street and her people love her far too much to take any chances. Svetlana does have a skin condition that she takes medication for, and she handles it like a champ. With her care routine, she’s comfortable and happy. Sweet, silly, and full of personality, Svetlana has a way of stealing hearts the moment you meet her.

Hey there… my name is Hunk. And yes, before you ask… I absolutely live up to the name. I’m a ridiculously handsome long-haired black cat with movie star looks, a sweet personality, and enough charm to make people stop in their tracks. But I wasn’t always this confident. Before coming to Furball Farm, I was feral and very afraid of people. Trust didn’t happen overnight. It took a whole lot of time, patience, love… and food (especially food) for me to realize humans aren’t so bad after all. Because of that, my future family needs to understand that I may need some time to settle in and feel safe in a new home. But I promise… I am worth the wait. At first, I can be a little shy and keep to myself. Then seemingly out of nowhere… something clicks and suddenly I’m following you around meowing and rubbing all over your legs asking for attention. I love saying hello and reminding people that I’m available for affection. Fair warning though… I may not be the best choice if you’re a fall risk because I take my leg-rubbing job very seriously. My favorite way to hang out? Sit on the floor with me. I love walking up to people and saying hi on my own terms. I’m not much of a lap cat and being held isn’t really my thing right now… but who knows what time may bring. Want to win me over instantly? Lickable treats. Those things are basically my love language. When I’m not collecting pets, you can usually find me basking in the sunshine on the playground, snuggling with my feline friends, or doing what I like to call snuggle walking with other cats. Because of that, I would do best in a home with other feline companions. They help me feel comfortable and confident. Oh… and one more thing… I have no teeth. But don’t feel bad for me. It certainly doesn’t stop me from enjoying treats. Between my luxurious orange buff floof, my dazzling good looks, and my expert cuddling skills, I’m basically the complete package. I’m currently living in foster care in Faribault while I wait for my forever family to find me. In the meantime, I’ve been busy perfecting the important things in life… playing with toys, zooming around the house, snuggling with my people, looking adorable, and occasionally running amok just to keep everyone entertained.
