Cats have a reputation, don’t we, of being royal “snobs.” As Rod McKuen said, `Cats have it all – admiration, an endless sleep, and company only when they want it.` I’m Duchess, a white and grey Persian mix, but I have not been feeling regal at all since my person passed away. My best friend Brody and I have been sad, but now we are at the shelter to find a new home together. I am a little shy, but I am very sweet, and I love being petted. I miss the companionship that I had with my person. I like to play, but I am not overly active. My lovely coat became matted from lack of care and needs grooming. I will look and feel better having someone caring for me. Brody and I are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. I’m a lovely lady who’s not looking for a palace. Mia loves nothing more than lounging in her perch by the window, soaking up the sunshine and keeping an eye on the neighborhood… or simply chilling right next to her favorite person. 🤍 She’s not quite a lap cat yet, but who knows what a little time, trust, and love might unlock. 🥹 She loves being pet specifically on her head and neck…her back and tummy are sensitive areas and will only be unlocked for whom she truly trusts otherwise she’ll tell you with a few gentle bats. This Persian beauty is very low-energy, soft spoken and has little interest in toys unless it’s cat nip. She would happily spend her days lounging, relaxing, and being treated like the royalty she knows she is. She’ll need daily brushing to keep that gorgeous floof looking fabulous — but honestly, a princess deserves her beauty routine. ✨ Mia has lived with small dogs in the past as well as cats but she takes time to warm up. I think she would prefer having a quiet & patient forever home where she can take her time settling in, soak up all the love, and live her best spoiled-princess life. 💕

KRONK. Yep… KRONK. 🖤 I’m a big boy with a big name and an even bigger heart. My name is Kronk, and I’m a very handsome, LARGE, long-haired black cat looking for a home to finally call my own. Before coming to Furball Farm, life wasn’t so easy. I was living outside when I faced a predator and ended up with a huge wound on my neck. Thankfully, I made it to Furball, got the care I needed, and now I’m completely healed up and living the good life. The only thing missing? A family of my own. I’m a VERY sweet guy who absolutely loves being petted. In fact, I like the attention to be on me, thank you very much. If I decide you’re not giving me enough, I’ll even meow to remind you that KRONK requires attention. We think once I’m comfortable in a home, I’ll be a big ol’ lap cat in no time. Some of my favorite things include treats, catnip, soaking up warm sunspots until I’m nice and toasty, and apparently… catnip bubbles. Those things are kinda fun! I’m also good with other cats and recently had a dental, so my teeth are nice and clean. I am considered a special-needs kitty because I’m FIV positive, but please don’t let those three letters scare you away. FIV+ cats can live long, normal, happy lives.
